Overview & Reviews
For 2004, Chevrolet has dropped the high-line LTZ trim level. Power-adjustable pedals, a DVD-based navigation system, automatically locking doors and XM Satellite Radio are new features this year. The instrument panel now sports a freshened monochromatic look. The North Face Edition package gets unique 17-inch wheels, while all models get new 17-inch aluminum wheels.
- Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
- Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design, low-grade interior materials.

So Far So Good - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By DollBaby - June 15 - 10:00 amI drove a 2002 Blazer for about 2 years and was pleased with the performance of that vehicle. When the need arose for a 4-door vehicle in our family we chose the Trailblazer based on the performance of the 2002 Blazer that never gave us one ounce of problems the entire time we owned the vehicle. The Trailblazer screams comfort. I would even say it is comparable to a Cadillac that I once owned. THIS IS A NICE RIDE!!!!!!!!!!

Great Truck! - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Brian - May 25 - 7:06 pmThis is fantastic vehicle for family use and towing! have had the vehicle for about a month and am very impressed with the comfort, build quality and performance. Only thing that I wished the vehicle had as an option would be a power seat.

Still Checking It Out - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By mark - May 16 - 1:51 amAfter driving a 2001 Bravada, I felt cheated when I saw that the Trailblzaer was larger, heavier, and had more horsepower, and the same gas mileage (15/20). I get 16 mpg which I hope improves. As far as comfort goes, the way the drivers bottom seat is bolstered causes an ache under my right thigh. I try to make up for it with the seat controls. It has everything, and I really like it. It would be the perfect SUV for me if the mileage was better.

Happy TB Camper - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By DukeCylk - April 13 - 11:58 pmI am very satisfied with our vehicle. The torque and horsepower are exceptional. My only complaint is that the new stadium seating concept makes it difficult to see where you are going when backing up.

Still new - no problems - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By JTL - March 26 - 6:05 pmLike it alot but a little loose in the handling. Quiet and a great turning radius. Gas mileage average for an SUV. No surprise. In line 6 very quiet. Rides well - seats hard but that is good.

2003 ChevyTrailerblazer honest review - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By rick 2004 - February 12 - 2:00 amMy 2003 Trailblazer is quiet and confortable to drive. However it can be sluggish thru turns, and gas mileage is disappointing. Even though it does better than Dodge Duragos V8, I feel Chevys straight 6 engine would perform better than the 15 mpg Im currently getting. Still, Im happy overall with this SUV, and, so far, no service costs.

Good ride - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By steveh1354 - February 2 - 11:04 pmI love the way this vehicle looks and drives. Its a perfect car for the kids and long trips. Feel safe and confident. Wife fought me on buying it and now she drives it all the time. Gas mileage is pretty bad. I havnt had any problems with drive or performance. Wind noise is bad at highway speeds. Basic stereo and speakers are poor, I upgraded the speakers and that really helped. I have used this truck in some heavy snow this winter, and both the AWD and 4WD worked great. I went after market on a DVD system. Dealership wanted 1800, i got a nice one for under a 1000. Overall I love this vehicle and it looks awsome in maroon.

Chevy Trailblazer - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By tbsport00 - January 31 - 5:48 pmAt 67" tall, vehicles with sufficient legroom are impossible to find. Thanks to Edmunds spec. page I was able to compare before heading out to dealerships. Trailblazer has more front seat legroom than my wifes Tahoe. Reliabilty Ive experienced with my late model Chevys is on a par with previously owned Toyotas and Mazdas.
