Overview & Reviews
For 2004, Chevrolet has dropped the high-line LTZ trim level. Power-adjustable pedals, a DVD-based navigation system, automatically locking doors and XM Satellite Radio are new features this year. The instrument panel now sports a freshened monochromatic look. The North Face Edition package gets unique 17-inch wheels, while all models get new 17-inch aluminum wheels.
- Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
- Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design, low-grade interior materials.

A joy to drive - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By vetta - July 21 - 2:00 amAs an ex-Tahoe owner I really like this Trailblazer. I felt the Tahoe was way over priced so I took a look at the Trailblazer. In my 3rd week of ownership and love it more and more every day. The ride is wonderful and the engine is very powerful. The inside is very quiet. The only thing I dont like is the seats. There is no support on the sides and they sit kind of high and are not very soft. Other than that this was a very good choice.

An excellent vehicle - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Stan Adler - July 21 - 2:00 amThis is the best truck I have owned. It is fun reliable and has excellent cargo space that is easy to axcess. I have four grandchildren and it is easy to transport them safely. The system to anchor childrens car seats is excellent. I have found the the handling to be very good. Four wheel drive is excellent in snow. Smooth ride is easy on my wifes back.

Smooth Truck - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Great Truck - June 8 - 7:19 amI bought this TrailBlazer used and spoke to the original owner before purchasing. He traded my TrailBlazer for a new 06 TrailBlazer. He stated he would not own anything else. Well, now I know what he means. I cannot get over the comfort and the extra room I have verses my Explorer. The ride is so smooth especially for a 4x4. My Ford Explorer is also a 4x4 and is ridged and rough in its ride. I also love the extra leg room. My husband and son are really tall guys and they are cramped in the Explorer, they are loving the TrailBlazer! This is the best truck I have ever owned.

GM through and through - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Bret - May 17 - 1:05 amI needed a car that I could drive and get some of my money back after a couple of years. This car stickered at $36000 new and I thought I got a good deal with all the rebates. Here it is two years later and it is only worth $14000 in good condition. Ridiculous! Last American car I will ever own. The interior looks like a first grader made it in a class project. All the weather stripping around the doors is falling off, the radio has been replaced twice( I dont know why I even bothered the thing stunk to begin with), the bumper covers are warping, funky smell from the vents and the cheap chrome sticker that they call a grill is is peeling off. Volkswagon Touareg here I come.

i love my TrailBlazer - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By sandra - May 11 - 12:13 ami have had my TrailBlazer for about a month, and I love it. The third row of seating is easy to get to and all the seats fold down easy and fast to make the cargo area bigger. At first I didnt like the TrailBlazer but my husband talked to into it. Now I dont think that he will ever be able to drive it. It is powerful enough to get in and out of traffic but is good on gas if you are taking it easy. I test drove a Jeep (didnt like it, felt drifty) and Explorer (didnt like it, didnt have a third row) as soon as I sat in the TrailBlazer I fell in love. I cant say enough good about it! You just feel safe! I had 3 adults and 4 car seats and everyone was comfy no one was smushed.

Family fun wagon - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Scott at Water - April 16 - 10:00 amIm happy with this suv.The front seats could be more supportive, maybe similar to the full size truck. Its the right size but I think a 5.3 V8 option in this short box style would suit me and my driving style better.I hate 2500- 3000 rpm revs.It handles and drives good for what it is. Fuel mileage is not what modern tech should be at with this model.Again give me 16 valves and 8 cylinders for less money than a 24 valve high winder. I would buy another for this price point its a good deal.

Great Vehicle - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By EricJohn - March 8 - 2:00 amThis vehicle is absolutely fabulous. I love the powertrain as the Vortec 4.2L I6 really moves. It betters Fords V8 in the Explorer. Tows very well, even with the 3.42 gear ratio. People knock the interior but I like the simple style of it. Its functional and easy to use. The size is perfect and it handles everything I throw at it. Great for trips and day-to-day driving. Overall fabulous vehicle. Highly recommend.
