Overview & Reviews
For 2004, Chevrolet has dropped the high-line LTZ trim level. Power-adjustable pedals, a DVD-based navigation system, automatically locking doors and XM Satellite Radio are new features this year. The instrument panel now sports a freshened monochromatic look. The North Face Edition package gets unique 17-inch wheels, while all models get new 17-inch aluminum wheels.
- Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
- Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design, low-grade interior materials.

See Your USA - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Joseph Condomitti - August 10 - 10:00 amTrip to FL. 2 day trip but my wife felt great. Her back didnt hurt, she loved the ride and just wanted to drive it through. I had 8 people in the car in Florida and they loved it.The gas milage was 19.4.drive,handled well, looks great, good be better on gas,and in is American. It gets my vote and I drive a Benz and it rides nicer than the Benz and the salespeople were much nicer! Has more room than my brother-in-laws Navigator in the 3rd row.

Love my Trailblzer - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Blueskies - June 28 - 9:24 amA friend told me about how she loved her Trailblazer. I bought a new one in 2004 and have been in love with it ever since. There was only one minor recall, I have not had any problems with it (knock on wood), and the service people at the dealership are so pleasant and helpful. I will drive this SUV until it dies and then I will go out an buy a new Chevy.

My TrailBlazer is a piece of crap - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Chris T - June 26 - 2:34 pmAt first I loved it - smooth ride, good size. But weve had nothing but troubles: 3 transmissions in 50,000 miles, electrical problems, computer issues, problems with the fuel injectors. Its been in and out of the repair shop for the last 6 months, and the last time we only had it home for 12 hours before it wouldnt start again. Too bad too, because I loved driving my TB, but the reliability stinks.

Luvin the Trailblazer - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Zak - June 25 - 1:27 pmGreat vehicle. A decent amount of room for all your stuff and plenty of power to get it where it needs to go. I had some initial problems with the tachometer sticking when held at a constant rpm. Fourtunatly it was covered under warranty. I also just had to put a wheel bearing in it which was kinda pricy. My vehicle has 60,000 miles on it and I was the second owner. Im assuming the first owner beat the crap out of the thing and it still drives as smooth as glass. I baby my cars so I think it should last me a good while. I love Chevys and its because they know how to build something thats tough.

Too Many Problems - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By ShyGuyABQ - April 17 - 10:07 amThe Trailblazer has many of the features I was looking for in a SUV. Plenty of room, comfortable ride and tons of engine power. But all the problems Ive had with this vehicle outweigh the positives. Ive had problems with the electrical systems, several problems with trim and rubber moldings just falling off for no reason, engine acting up. Nothing major, just a lot of inconveniences. I will not be buying another TrailBlazer.

New owner - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By OJH - April 16 - 10:00 amMy wife and I recently purchased our vehicle after our 97 Ford explorer with 75,000 + miles began to show wear and tear. Although we didnt go looking for a Chevy product we were immediately attracted to its design. After a test drive were impressed with the Trail Blazer and decided to purchase it. We found it to be roomy with its wide interior and that the handling was great.
