Overview & Reviews
For 2004, Chevrolet has dropped the high-line LTZ trim level. Power-adjustable pedals, a DVD-based navigation system, automatically locking doors and XM Satellite Radio are new features this year. The instrument panel now sports a freshened monochromatic look. The North Face Edition package gets unique 17-inch wheels, while all models get new 17-inch aluminum wheels.
- Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
- Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design, low-grade interior materials.

Blazin my trail - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By rebeckywecky - January 28 - 10:00 amI love this car. It is very fast with 280 horses under the hood. Its a comfortable ride and unlike the editors rating I dont think the interior is cheaply made. The only problems I have had is in the guage panel with a grinding noise, and the change oil light is a false reading. Also I do think that the seals around the car for noise protection are installed poorly. Mine keep coming loose and I have to reattatch them. Overall I really love this car and dont even want to trade it in for a bigger one, which I really need.

BE WARY.... - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By dhamernik - January 26 - 3:44 pmI would be very wary of buying a used T-blazer. the reliability of them is to be questioned. I have spent $1500 in repairs this last year (not covered by warranty) & I still need another $1500. Part of that is the instrument panel that goes out between 40k-50k miles...

Above and Beyond - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By oullee - December 21 - 2:00 amEver since my wife and I saw the new Trailblazers we were in love. This vehicle is top notch!!!If we didnt have such a horrible experiance with the most unprofessional Chevy dealer Ive ever had this would have been the best cotracual agreement I have ever signed, I cant wait for til the truck reaches 75,000 miles for the warrenty to end and I can go for an 8 cylynder with third row seating.

I got dupped - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By PBG278 - December 21 - 2:00 amThis vehicle was great the first few months of ownership, but as time progressed my transmission started giving me problems. A few trips to the dealership for service and they found nothing wrong. Then the electrical systems completely gave out. After that was fixed, I found out by being pulled over that the vehicles brake lights werent working. Needless to say, I no longer own a Chevy. Im a Ford man now...

Compared several - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By t.jones - September 27 - 2:00 amHaving researched numerous SUVs in the midsize range, and test driving several (over a 1 year period), I finally concluded that the Trailblazer was the best fit for my needs. Not too big, not too small, not to pricey -- just right.

Gee, I could have had a V-8 - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By RCHopper - September 9 - 9:56 pmSatelite radio, OnStar, sunroof rear wiper 4WD, trailer hitch. Comfortable ride. What more could one want? AN ENGINE, THATS WHAT! I was willing to trade down from a Tahoe and save on gas and emmisions, etc. I have a sluggish car that gets less mpg (12-15) than my I got with my V-8 Tahoe. Very dissappointed in this L6.

Trailblazer LS 4WD - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By omar - August 26 - 2:07 amI bought my Trailblazer LS 4wd in 2006. Overall, its a great vehicle. Has a punchy v-6 motor and has been very reliable. However, I wish Chevy had put extra efforts on the SUVs interior and handling

Good SUV - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Brent - August 22 - 4:32 pmUpgraded from an Impala LS to Trailblazer for more storage and light hauling. Very pleased with overall performance - acceleration leaves a little to be desired, but I was coming from an Impala. I have driven in 2 blizzards already and felt very relaxed. Gas mileage is a little bummer - I average around 13 in city and 18 on highway. After 3 years and 30K miles, I have only had it in for routine maintenance.
