Overview & Reviews
For 2004, Chevrolet has dropped the high-line LTZ trim level. Power-adjustable pedals, a DVD-based navigation system, automatically locking doors and XM Satellite Radio are new features this year. The instrument panel now sports a freshened monochromatic look. The North Face Edition package gets unique 17-inch wheels, while all models get new 17-inch aluminum wheels.
- Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
- Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design, low-grade interior materials.

Chevy Trailblazer - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By tbsport00 - January 31 - 5:48 pmAt 67" tall, vehicles with sufficient legroom are impossible to find. Thanks to Edmunds spec. page I was able to compare before heading out to dealerships. Trailblazer has more front seat legroom than my wifes Tahoe. Reliabilty Ive experienced with my late model Chevys is on a par with previously owned Toyotas and Mazdas.

This is a dream vehicle - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Dean - January 13 - 11:07 pmMy Trailblazer LT is probably the best quality vehicle I have owned. It is blessed with a V8 which provides smooth acceleration and response. It has a quiet, luxury ride. I love the way it handles. A medium size SUV with 7 passenger capacity....and room for luggage to boot. I havent found anything to complain about to date. Accessories abound with XM radio, DVD player, and On-star. I especially like the fold-down seats in the second row that allows EASY entrance to the third row of seats.

So far, so good! - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By ERUSS44 - January 5 - 9:01 pmI really enjoy this vehicle...The fuel economy hopefully will rise a little as I break her in..I also hope that I am one of the winners of the "Build- quality lottery" that happens across the automotive assembly industry spectrum,r egardless of the manufacturer or brand name. I cant wait for some lake-effect snow to go out cruising in my new Trailblazer!

I BELIEVE I HAVE MY FIRST LEMON - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By SKIPPY - December 21 - 10:00 amMY TRAILBLAZER LOOKS GREAT, RUNS GREAT, AND RIDES GREAT. LOVE THE VEHICLE AND WOULD BUY A SECOND, HOWEVER I HAVE A WATER LEAK IN THE FRONT PASSENGER FLOOR AREA. A DEALERSHIP STATED THAT THE LEAK WAS FIXED. ??? MY THIRD APPOINTMENT IS MY LAST BEFORE I FILE FOR LEMON LAW. STILL DIE HARD CHEVY.

Good Reliability Quality Vehicle - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By gmsmith - November 19 - 2:00 amMy Chevy Trailblazer has plenty of pick up and passing power I love the power. This is a very fun vehicle to drive; I took this SUV on a trip that was about 1600 miles round trip, it average about 21.97 mpg on the highway and about 14 to 16 in the city, I think that great mileage for a truck with that kind of power. It has a very soft ride for a SUV. The seat can be a little more supportive but they are fairly comfortable. This is a very reliable vehicle I have 20K on it right now. The crap that they say that the ford explorer handles better is not true my son has a 2002 ford and my trailblazer is faster and handle a lot better than his ford explorer.

Real SUV without the rock hard ride - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By bkd - November 7 - 10:00 amExcellent power and fantastic ride. It has a much better ride than the other SUV I tried, including the luxury models. Available options are great (XM, On-Star, DVD). I would also recommend the leather.

The best TrailBlazer Ever! - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Zeke Bronson - November 1 - 2:00 amIve had 3 TrailBlazers since they were restyled in 2002. This 2004 2wd TrailBlazer LT is the best ever. The 4.2L engine w/3.42 rear gets great fuel mileage on the highway ... 21+ mpg. Thats really good since most of my driving is highway. The seats are comfortable, and I have not been back to the dealership since I bought it. I love this TrailBlazer, and may keep it another year and get a 2006 model.
