Fun vehicle and feels big - 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe
By TD - March 24 - 7:02 pmI bought it used because this one was in new condition, still is. It has most of what I wanted, but this particular vehicle needs traction control aka positraction. Its hard to get started fast from a stop without a lot of wheelspin. I just installed some wider 18" wheels and tires which might help. The gas mileage is poor but no worse than other Tahoe models. We use it for recreation mostly because we didnt really need to buy it. When we have a day off or two thats the car we take on trips. I still like the style better than the 2007 model which looks like the HD Chev PU with a Ford Expedition hanging on the back. Also I like the interior more than the 2007.

Powerhouse with style - 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe
By Jason - March 6 - 1:12 pmSome say the interior looks dated, I say it looks fine. Now that it is about 5+ years old, no one can believe it has 60,000 miles, it looks new. I am a very maintenance concious though. I wax every 3 months, and wash every week. I definitely do routine oil change.

Woodside - 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe
By Woodside - January 31 - 2:05 pmWe enjoy our Tahoe very much, just wish we could afford a new one. We travel with friends and they too like this vehicle because of the comfort and the ability to see better from it.

Great SUV - 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe
By Casey - December 28 - 8:35 pmI first purchased a new Ford explorer with 3rd seat and it was a disaster from the begining, I traded it in for a much safer and sturdier car, my Tahoe! After that my brother and his wife got one as well!

Bought New, still great - 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe
By Mike - May 24 - 4:47 pmI highly recommend this vehicle. The performance is outstanding and the vehicle is extremely comfortable. We bought a Honda Pilot as a second car and it fell way short of the Tahoe. The gas mileage isnt great, but no one should really expect great gas mileage from a vehicle of this size.

Great truck, love every minute of it - 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe
By khornet93 - October 4 - 2:00 amId been shopping for a new truck with my Jimmy lease about to expire when I ran across this one. Purchased GM Certified Used with only 16,000 miles on it. It has never been in for anything other than routine maintenance and Id recommend this truck to anyone. Never tried any serious offroading in it, but it more than handles the harsh Michigan winters!

By bauerboy - August 24 - 2:00 amOverall, good car to drive and useful features. Good gas mileage for size of engine but not a good overall fuel economy vehicle

2001 Chevy Tahoe Z71 - 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe
By bpgerl - June 16 - 2:00 amThis vehicle is a vehicle that I have wanted for a while and now that I own it I am more than satisfied with it. It is a very comfortable ride and exterior look of the vehicle are very sharp. I like the Z71 package because it makes it a more sporty looking SUV than the regular Tahoe LS/LT. Mechanically this vehicle is very sound and its performance is top of the line. I plan on going off roading a little bit and I know this will be the right vehicle for me. So I recommend a Tahoe, but I prefer the Z71 over the others with all the options. I love this vehicle and plan on keeping it for a very long time.
