All models get the previously optional Premium Ride suspension. LS Tahoes get six-way power driver and front passenger seats, along with foglights, heated outside mirrors, side-mounted assist steps and a programmable HomeLink transmitter for opening garage doors or automatic gates. The 5300 V8 is now capable of running gasoline/ethanol fuel blends.

Shame on you GM. Google for cold start knock do your own homework youll see.45K and climbing.Ive now heard the Trans isnt so great either.Hopefully shell stay together a little while longer.700 not enough...

Our Minnesota winters are harsh the snow, sand and salt are tough on everything. But after two winters, our 2002 Tahoe still looks and performs as new. These are handsome, comfortable and durable vehicles.

I have the fancy, decked-out version with the optinal Z71 off-road package, which gives it a really taut, robust (albeit a teensy bit rough) ride. Corner handling is excellent for a bus this size. I currently have a little over 40,000 miles on it and the brakes are hardly half-way through!! I had a really bad experience with the brakes on the previous model (the previous body-style), but this is worlds better. Very comfy and roomy inside, the A/C is superb to control and maintain temperature. Very reliable so far, although Ive only had it for a year-and-a-half!

By thelastknight - October 2 - 9:33 amI found a way to save some money. First ask the dealer to throw in the scotch guard for the seats. Then when they ask about the extended warrenty. Have them go talk to the manager to lower the price since the extended warranties include the scotch guard program. Saved me $400.00 and I bought the extended warrenty. I love this vehicle. Im still breaking her in so I could have a few more to say but thank you Chevy for the rebates and intrest rates! Killer truck

Quality Ride - 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe
By HerZ71 - September 30 - 2:00 amIve had my Tahoe with the Z71 package for 3 months now and I love it. Leather seating is extremely comfortable and the ride is quiet even on the highway. Plenty of cargo room for transporting kids to college, grocery shopping, and even my new washing machine. Love the sporty Z71 exterior and pleasantly suprised at the turning radius.

The seats are so comfortable (and the heated leather is so nice on cold mornings!) and the 2nd row seating is even quite comfortable. Its easy to park and complete tight turns. Super quiet even at high speeds on the highway and a wonderful smooth drive even on the awful streets of Detroit. Surprisingly good gas milage for a heavy V8 with pep.
