Overview & Reviews
The Suburban gets numerous functional enhancements for 2003. The Quadrasteer four-wheel steering system is now available on 3/4-ton models for increased maneuverability and better stability when towing, while 1/2-ton versions now offer the StabiliTrak stability control system. New power heated mirrors feature puddle lamps, in-glass turn signal indicators and a memory function, and extendable power camper mirrors are optional. The interior gets numerous upgrades that include tri-zone climate control, an enhanced driver-information center, a redesigned center console and options such as second-row captain's chairs and adjustable pedals. A revised lineup of entertainment options includes a Bose audio system as well as XM Satellite Radio and a DVD-based entertainment system. For increased safety, the Suburban now features a standard front-passenger-sensing system and dual-stage airbags.
- Choice of powerful V8 engines, Quadrasteer four-wheel steering system, cavernous cargo space, room for nine.
- Massive size can be tough in tight confines, vague steering feel, cheap interior plastics.

I love this car! - 2003 Chevrolet Suburban
By happycamper - August 9 - 2:00 amWe have four kids and this is an awesome vehicle for us because it is so comfortable, drives great & has plenty of extra room for all our "stuff". We drove all the other large SUVs & the Suburban drives the absolute best. Great vehicle!

Pleasantly surprised - 2003 Chevrolet Suburban
By Rotifer - August 8 - 2:00 amI had a need to tow the big boat, haul the family and two dogs between the main house and the lake house, and the old truck was dying. As a lifelong Honda and Toyota guy, I cant believe that I bought a Suburban instead of a Pilot or Sequoia. I have had it three months and have been pleasantly surprised with the build quality. Gas mileage has been 18-19 MPG and is better than I expected.... The family took it on a 20 hour, 1000 mile round trip on a three day weekend, and it was great. Overall, the Suburban has been a very comfortable hauler.

By Main Driver - August 5 - 2:00 amI drive the Suburban daily! I cant imagine hauling groceries, kids, backpacks, sports equipment, etc. in anything else! In the winter, with icy roads, I feel safe and secure taking the family where ever they need to go! Great Auto!

Great Vehicle - 2003 Chevrolet Suburban
By Alpha - July 25 - 2:00 amWe love our Suburban. It is the perfect family vehicle. With four kids, the space is ideal. Weve made a number of long distance road trips and the ability to move 6 people with alot of luggage and gear is a real plus. I love the fact that I can fit a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood etc... in the rear cargo area. If your a weekend project person, this vehicle is ideal. All around its the most practical and comfortable vehicle in its class.

Disappointed - 2003 Chevrolet Suburban
By snotned - July 25 - 2:00 amI use my Chevy to puck up friends from the airport and to take trips to neighboring states. The dealership tells me that it is normal to burn 1 1/2 quarts of oil between oil changes (every 3500 miles) Chevy says it sent out letters saying this was normal.???
