  I use my Metro for work throwing newspapers everyday. Its very dependable and gets 32 mpg. The drivers seat springs collapsed and I have to use 3 Sunday newspapers under there so I dont sit on the floor. Also the interior roof liner is sagging, and the cup holder is dangerous as I couldnt put the car into reverse in a quick manner because I had a coffee cup in the holder which blocks the shifter. After I bought the car I had several repairs like a loose spark plug and cv boot and axle. The PNP switch in the trans shifter shorted because previous owner didnt push in the shifter button when changing gears. No problems after that and it has become a reliable car now that I enjoy.

  not bad - 2001 Chevrolet Metro

  i got this car for 3000.00 not to bad for a 2001. the only thing that has gone out on the car is the camshaft sensor, other then that the car has been pretty reliable. it shakes when you go over 60 though but it takes corners good and it fits almost anywhere. so all in all its a good little car.

  It performs well for what I bought it for which is good fuel economy, cheap insurance and maintenance.

  Basic Transport - 2000 Chevrolet Metro

  For what this car is about, getting from point A to point B it does it, and with little gas. At 62" it is not the car for me but for my wife it works fine. Credit card dollars helped reduce the cost of this car to < $6000 new. So, that helped.

  A/C Problems - 2000 Chevrolet Metro

  Love the gas mileage (40mpg) but have had in the shop (4) times for A/C work in (2) yrs. Otherwise great work car.
