Excellent Value - 2001 Chevrolet Malibu
By Ricker99 - August 23 - 2:00 amThis car lives up to its highly regarded expectations. Zippy for its size, it has more than enough power. The transmission is silky smooth, and the drive is solid yet fun. Im 63" tall and I have plenty of room in the drivers seat. I enjoy the good fuel economy. Only complaint is road noise gets a little high at highway speeds. Otherwise, I love this car.

Good First Family Car - 2001 Chevrolet Malibu
By Ali Reza Rajabzadeh - July 4 - 2:00 amThis is a good first family car because you plenty of room for the kids and the stuff i.e. stroller baby seat diaper bag and you can afford it with its nice price tag. They only bad thing is the resale/trade-in value on this car.

What about the brake??? - 2001 Chevrolet Malibu
By J.W. - March 6 - 2:35 amGreat family car with great features. Front Brakes life is poor. Factory tire life is below average. Plenty of trunk space. Optional folding rear seat.

Best car at an affordable price - 2001 Chevrolet Malibu
By familycarman - March 1 - 3:20 amWe were looking for a good family car. The Malibu is the best car for the price and provides some neat features not normally found on cars in the price range. This car seems to be low maintenance (time will tell) due to many features like the 50,000 mile coolant and such. The anti-lock breaks being standard is very nice, this car handled very well in the snow over the 2001-2002 Utah winter where we drove several times for hours on slick highway and secondary roads.
