buy a ford - 1993 Chevrolet Lumina
By pdiddy1230 - January 11 - 2:00 amwhew.. this car just never stops. repair bills after repair bills. i have 75000 miles and had to replace alternator 4 times, not to mention fuel pump, brakes...And WOW WHAT TERRIBLE GAS MILEAGE! i do everything i can to keep the gas mileage down, yet i still average 15mpg. my best advice for you would be to buy a ford, and get your moneys worth, minus the repair bills.

Great car! - 1993 Chevrolet Lumina
By lumina_man - December 27 - 2:00 amHave had this car since new in late 92. Have 143K on it now, and plan on making it another 143K. Gas mileage can exceed 30 mpg on highway. Very few problems. Wish they still made them. Have the 3.1L engine, which still has spunk!

2dr Euro coupe - 1993 Chevrolet Lumina
By homesk8 - November 15 - 2:00 amI bought this car back in 99 with 73k on it it now has 118k and still drives great. It was my first car and I am by far happy with it. The paint on these cars is awsome my car still looks brand new besides a few nics here and there from regular driving. This car really bites into the tar on corners. It has good take off for a car its size and has surprized many in its seats.

Old Reliable - 1993 Chevrolet Lumina
By MichJD - October 22 - 2:00 amAfter 9 years of this car, Im still not ready to give it up. Comfortable, roomy, great value for the money, and reliable as a Swiss watch. No drive train/transmission/radiator/AC problems. Early problems with the brakes, of course. Replaced a ball joint or two and some struts. I wish Chevy still made this car.

Best Deal Ive Seen - 1993 Chevrolet Lumina
By mastermechanic23432 - September 8 - 2:00 amOh man, when i saw this car sitting out in this guys driveway with a for sell sign i was thinking this is a relatively new car (about in the 1997 range), but it turns out to be a 93. i bought it thinking i would resell it, but when i started driving the car i was loving it more and more. this thing has a dual cam v6 that pumps out more horsepower than most 2002 sports cars! the brakes and transmission are great and the reliability of this car is flawless so far.

Got my moneys worth - 1993 Chevrolet Lumina
By GreenMan18 - September 4 - 2:00 amBought this car with 12k miles in spring of 94. It now has over 167k miles. This car took every bit of abuse I gave it. Body held up for as long as it could and longer than expected living in the "rust belt". Interior is still fresh and firm. Other than the notorious GM brake problem...this car has been solid. Radiator went at 140k (rust related). Battery went at 150k. Stuts at 90k. Rear suspension is now officially shot, bushings are gone (150k). Still runs like a top!

Works great for me - 1993 Chevrolet Lumina
By yuraasup - August 1 - 2:00 amI bought it more than 4 years ago. No major repairs so far. Smoth ride, good acceleration. Very roomy, big trank. Transmission is very quiet and smoth. I paid $4000 for it and it paid back to the last penny. Fuel economy is poor, but I was told that something should be fixed, but gas is relatively chip, so who cares... Thinking about buying another Chevy vechicle.
