There are only minor upgrades in store for the 2003 Impala. New options include a side airbag for the driver and XM Satellite Radio. Remote keyless entry is now standard and four new exterior colors are available. Both base and LS models get new wheel designs.

  Edmunds say this car is disappointing. Not true, I own V8 power cars before and this car out perform most of them and I only has the 3.4 V6. This car is better than Ford, Chrysler, Toyata, Honda, Nissan and Acura. I haven lost a race against them yet. The only thing about the Chevrolet Impala 3.4V6 its a little slow in the first gear bur after that it will kick your ass. Stop giving the consumers bad information.

  I think my ratings say it all... car is very new so my reliability ratings arent based on lots of experience.

  Affter looking at a number of European sedans, I was astonished what the Impala offered for the money. Ive not owned an American sedan since the early 70s and have driven SUVs (GMC) for the past eight years. I began looking at the 5 series and E class when a friend suggested the Impala. Its not quite as tight or zippy and the doors dont sound as solid when I close them, but in respect to value for the dollar it was a no-brainer. I could buy two for the price of one 5 series or E class. So I bought an Impala and have been very satisfied with the product.

  Over all this is a nice car, drives nice looks nice, has all the bells and horns. The only thing Im a little fustrated with is my breaks keep squeeking and I dont know why... but its a great car!!!
