Two fresh colors are available, but the available convertible model is the big news. Equipped with a manual-folding top, a hard tonneau that extends along the rear wall of the passenger compartment and a trunk that holds golf bags. Lower-powered airbags are not available on the Corvette.

  THE 98 VETTE CONV IS WITHOUT A DOUGHT THE BEST EVER THE CAR IS DAMN NEAR PERFECT AS A TOYOTA EMPLOYEE I CAN SPEAK OF SUCH THINGS AS WE ALL WELL KNOW IF GM FORD OR THAT OTHER WANA-BE CAR BUILDER EVER MAKE A CAR WITH QUALITY INT. INSTEAD OF THE HARD SWEEKY NOISY JUNK PLASTIC THEY USE WERE IN TROUBLE AT TOYOTA BUT BY THEN WILL ALL BE DRIVING JET CARS..............SEEE YA SOON

  Awesome C5 - 1998 Chevrolet Corvette

  The 1998 Corvette Convertible is a great car ! Fun to drive, great gas mileage, awesome looks and most of all its American Made! The car is very well engineered, reliable and I think it is the best sports car value for the money without question. GM will have a major undertaking if it plans to top the C5 with the upcoming C6, on the other hand if the C5 is this good, maybe the C6 will be totally spectacular!

  This is my 3rd Corvette (1975 Stingray, 1986 Coupe)and the best one yet. It handles great and the technology is cool. Looks best with the top down. I have the pewter/black/black. I added chrome wheels and exhaust tips. Its really an eye catcher! If you havent already, buy one. Youll love it!

  I purchase the car new in 1998, it now has 28,000 trouble free miles on it. Never been back to the dealer except for some minor recall mods. Simply the best car I have ever driven. It gets me from 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds, gets almost 30 mpg and rides like a caddy. It even has room for two sets of golf clubs!

  GREAT CAR! Wasnt sure about the styling when it first came out but it grows on you. Very fast and with the top down looks awesome. I have owner many vettes and this one is almost perfect. Plenty of room inside and a trunk too. Luggage room for two for a week trip. Solid feel both on the road and when you close the doors. Best riding and perfomance corvette yet!!

  Very good performance especially in acceleration! Improved design makes the car easier to get in and get out. Have had some electrical problems (windshield wipers) and the paint is not a hard finish (scratches easily). Overal... great car!

  The C5 Corvette is truly an awesome vehicle. Ive had mine more than four years and have only had one minor issue. Everything about the car is just about perfect.
