  Drove my 2001 for a year and just got my 2003. The 01 was an oil burner, but once the General fixed that it was fine. Not too many red light challenges except from little souped up Civics, etc. The car is the best deal around for the bucks. Tons of torque, and plenty of power. If you cant drive well, dont buy it, cause it deserves to be driven hard,quick, and nasty.

  Having a ZO6 and owning 6 Crovettes before it i am more than pleased with how Chevrolet has delt with the sports car competition. nothing can touch a ZO6 for money and not mujch can touch it on the road too i have a 01 with 385 plus a 25 hp Cold Air Induction System.

  Since Ive wanted a corvette since I was young, you can imagine the standards this car had to uphold. Boy does it ever. Even with the automatic (this was a decision based upon my wife), this car is a blast to drive. So, far Ive taken it from San Fran to Scottsdale, AZ twice and each time have been extremely comfortable, gas mileage averaged 29 (with avg. speed of nearly 80). My only complaint...the small cup holder. Otherwise, this was a great choice for the money!

  This outstanding car never ceases to amaze me in terms of build quality, styling and performance. It has the qualities of both a luxury vehicle and a high-performance sports car. Ive gotten over 26mpg on the highway. Excellent climate control and stereo. Excellent storage space for a two- seater. Ive owned many cars, from Germany and Japan, and the US. This ones the best car Ive ever had the pleasure to drive. Hats off to the Corvette designers and engineers. Nothing else comes close, even at twice the price.

  Had loud tappets, turned out that the problem was some type of vendor quality issue with rings. Dealer replaced rings, tappets etc and problem stopped.

  Ive owned several corvetts , this is the fastest, best handeling, best looking vette i ever owned. i havent had a problem out running any thing on the road, including bikes( up 600CC ) after that they are missles,
