  The first of the many sports cars that I have owned that I would have actually paid more for. Handles better than the cars that I raced SCCA years ago, yet provides a very comfortable ride, and great ergonomics. You cannot touch this car in terms of price vs. performance.

  Great Car. Only a few minor problems during the last three years. Oil changes and new tires have been the only out of pocket costs to date. Dealer Service very poor....I will never buy a Chevrolet again because of the lack of quality control whenever I took the car in to the dealer. It never improved even after multiple complaints. Everytime I took it to the dealer for an oil change I asked to have the emergency brake adjusted and not once did they accomplish that task. Too bad because it is a great car, now that the warrenty has expired, I will try to find a real mechanic or do it myself.

  I leased this car in Feb 01. Lease is up in Feb 04, and Ill probably buy it. I had an 87 Jaguar Series III and never thought I could love a car like that one. Corvette has proved me wrong. It is an absolute treasure!

  Incredible handling and performance for the price. I run mine in Open Road Races on cruise control at 150+ mph. Loafs along at 165mph. Car is rock steady at all speeds. And it can be used as a daily driver.

  I am a sports car nut. I have had Porsche 911s and 930 Turbos,Mercedes SLK 230 and 320 Sports,a Honda S2000,a Prowler and several Harleys. None of them come close to the Z06. This car is like no other! Fast,Fun,and you feel very secure driving it hard.

  The Corvette is awesome. Its a beautiful car that performs incredibly well. You cant beat it (or even come close to it) without spending at least twice as much money. Kelley Chevrolet was a pleasure to deal with (no I dont work for them they love the car also..........and it shows in how they treat Vette owners)

  My 2001 was my first Corvette after dreaming about owning one since I was a child. The car is simply amazing. The power, grip, and brakes are far more than anyone needs on the street, and are adequate to embarrass pretty much every other car out there on the track. It is also fairly practical, offering a decent ride for a sports car, a fair amount of cargo space, and suprisingly good fuel economy on the highway. My car has never burned a drop of oil and has never needed a trip for the shop for any kind of warranty work. The car also responds well to basic mods, just changing the air intake has taken me past 400hp according to my last dyno run.

  This is my second C5, a 2001 roadster.. Ive had it for almost three years now and it consistently makes me smile. The performance, looks, and ride are all worth the price of ownership. I have made "corrections" such as intake, full-length headers and exhaust and the car has rewarded me with improved performance. On two trips from Florida to Bowling Green Kentucky, my vette averaged better than 27MPG!

  There is no true sports car like the Chevrolet Corvette! It is truly one of a kind. The gas mileage is great for the size of engine, and the comfort is unbelievable for the size of car.
