Overview & Reviews
Indigo Blue is added to the exterior palette. A CD player is made standard on the LS Sedan and Z24 Coupe. The Z24 Convertible has vanished from the lineup.
- Affordably priced, roomy enough for a family of four, Z24 is a stylish and speedy low-buck sport coupe.
- You get what you pay for in terms of comfort and convenience, Z24 Convertible no longer available, poor build quality.

No Complaints! - 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier
By gish879 - May 6 - 2:00 amI have had my 2-door STD Coupe for awhile now, and there have been no problems whatsoever. The only issue that I have with the car is that it has such a wimpy engine...But, I knew that from the beginning. It moves..Just doesnt accelerate that great. But I have had no problems whatsoever and would highly recommend the car to anyone that wants an attractive, cheap, and simple car.

Satisfied - 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier
By Mark E Mark - April 30 - 2:00 amI recently got a 2002 Cavalier base coupe, and i had doubts about the performance aspect of the 2.2 L engine. My car was equipted with a 5 speed manual transmission which proved to deliver good pick-up and acceleration. It will really fool you. Although it is not as refined as its imported competitors, it has all that one would need, all in pretty good locations. I recomend the chevy cavalier.

A fine American compact - 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier
By Denny - February 26 - 11:14 pmThe imports have been good to the US automakers. They taught them they need to strive for better cars. The cavalier on a cost to value ration is a big winner in this group. This is my second Cavalier in 5 years and it is a fine daily driver / commuter. We rack up about 25k per year and rotate our cars every four years or so. The Cavaliers we have owned never had a cost outside of routine maintainence.
