Overview & Reviews
New interior colors and fabrics, redundant steering-wheel audio controls, new alloy wheels, and a new exterior color debut. V6 and V8 engines meet California's low emission vehicle (LEV) standards.
- Fun (Base), fast (Z28), furious (SS).
- Chrysler Concorde front styling, cheapo interior materials, boy-racer image.

Best car I have ever owned! - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By Erik D - August 11 - 2:00 amHas a brute amount of power, great handling, comfortable seats (front ones anyway), and gets between 24-30 mpg on the highway. Youve gotta love that from an engine that is a 5.7L 350. This car is in its own class when it comes to looks, performance and price. The engines potential seems almost unlimited. There are setups out there where people are making over 700 HP, but still get 23 mpg on the highway with the a/c on. Drop the clutch at 1500 rpms and youll have a huge smile in about 5 seconds!

No Comparable Vehicle if its Caliber - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By starfighter - April 23 - 2:00 amGranted, GM could have done a better job in terms of continuous refinement of this great sportscar. Suffice to say that its simply in a class of its own. One buys a Camaro for the sheer pride of owning a part of the American muscle car history. Im tired of reading the cynical reviews. If you cant enjoy ownership, dont buy one!!! Your negative views are not going to spoil my fun!

Lots of fun not for the inexperienced - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By Lucwolf - March 27 - 2:00 amIt goes like greased lightning, looks sharp, stops well, and is quite economical to drive. The build quality is shocking, with mismatched body panels, failed electrical equipment, wind and water leaks, and just not a quality vehicle . My dealer has been most supportive, but I am pleased that I got the extended warrantee. The power, even with traction control, makes it a handful in wet weather, and in the snow, just park it and take the bus. It has startled me a few times with unpredictable handling with no warning.
