Overview & Reviews
More horsepower is on tap for the Z28, newly-styled chrome 16" wheels are a new option for base and Z28 models and Sunset Orange Metallic is added to the list of colors.
- Fun (Base), fast (Z28), furious (SS).
- Chrysler Concorde front styling, cheapo interior materials, boy-racer image.

Nice while it lasted - 2001 Chevrolet Camaro
By cre92468 - August 25 - 4:45 pmWas fun to take the t-tops off and drive around, and got pretty good fuel mileage. Had to keep replacing the passenger side turn bulb because the bulbs kept melting. Had to hand wash it because if I went through the automatic car wash, water would always come in.

Traded in at 118,400mi, bought at 12mi - 2001 Chevrolet Camaro
By Amanda - June 4 - 6:14 amCar was great in the beginning, grad present from parents. Drove fine, had problems from 3k miles on, replaced almost everything in the car at least 2x from the CD player that got too hot to play CDs to the entire rear axle that 2 bearings went bad in and wore the axle shafts out. Coil pack replaced 2x, ignition replaced, fuel pump replaced, clutch master cylinder replaced. Lots more done to the car, but all in all it was a decent ride.

Dont buy Chevys - 2001 Chevrolet Camaro
By William Jeffers - December 12 - 2:00 amI purchased a T-top camaro from Carmax in may of 03 and the car leaks from the t-top when it rains and when i wash it. It still had the majority of the manufactures warranty on it so I tried to have chevy fix it and they told me that t-tops will leak and that it cant be fixed. Its a characteristic of the vehicle. Beware!!!

By slickmick - October 11 - 2:00 am1.) use a quart of oil in 1200 miles 2.) "SES" lights weekly 3.) holes in the carpet after 1 year 4.) stereo sounds like it was in the river 5.) count the blind spots!!! 6.) dont forget "skip shift"!! The consumer has voted the Camaro out.
