The Avalanche gets numerous interior upgrades for '03 in addition to the midyear introduction of a "decladded" version that does without the oft-derided extensive lower body trim. Dual-zone climate control is now standard equipment on all models along with multistage airbags and a passenger airbag sensor. A redesigned instrument panel houses a more comprehensive driver information display; and an optional multifunction steering wheel puts climate, radio and trip computer controls right in the palm of your hands. New entertainment options include a Bose stereo system, XM Satellite Radio and a rear passenger DVD video system. Other new options include the StabiliTrak stability control system on 2WD half-ton models, adjustable pedals, and a fully automatic multizone climate control system.

  AWSOME TRUCK, RIDES LIKE A 4 WHEEL DRIVE CADILACK. I HAD IT FOR 8 MONTHS AND NO PROBLEMS. THE ONLY DOWN SIDE IS THE GAS MILAGE, 14 CITY AND 16 HIGHWAY BUT I DID NOT BUY IT FOR THE MILAGE.

  This is the best all around vehicle I have ever owned. I have had regular cabs, extended cabs, blazers and Mercedes Benz cars. By far this is the best vehicle I have ever owned. You can take it hunting, fishing, camping and then the the public theater.

  The Avalanche has performed as advertised for us. We use it for our vacations hauling or travel trailer all over the state. The Avalance has handled our needs more than any other car or truck we have owned to date.

  I first saw this truck at the Detroit auto show 3 years ago. I knew right then I had to have it. The versatility and comfort for long trips has sold me. It will haul 6 people or just 3 people and our kayaks and all our gear.

  At first I didnt like the looks of the Avalanche. Neighbors bought one and I soon began to like the utility then the looks began to attract me. So I picked up a white full armor unit and I love it! 10K so far and no problems. I get from 15 to 21 mpg which os great for a big car/truck like this. My cousins 2003 Expedition gets 13 to 16 mpg so the Chevy gets an excellent on mpg. The vehicle is comfortable, drives like a luxury car has utility like a truck. I highly recommned this vehicle to anyone interested in a vehicle that does it all. Super Job GM! Oh by the way the 5.3 Avalanche will smoke the 5.4 Expedition throught the 0-60 and the 1/4 mile!

  This vehicle has been a joy to drive. The ride is very good and handling is superior . The interior roominess is like being in your own livingroom at home . However I have one beef and it is large , In a rain storm or a car wash if you have clothes in suitcases or valuable purchased paper products in the cargo area you may have WET ones . I was told the cargo area wea air tight when closed . I found out different.

  I drive this teuck 650 miles a week. It is my familys choice to ride in when we go out. I have used it to haul lumber, as trasnportation on a 5 adult trip, and as a commuter vehicle. The comfort and drivability are superb. I am amazed at how nice it rides, and yet is an exceptionally functional truck. It even fits in the garage.

  Just sitting in the Chevy Avalanche is HEAVEN! Thats all that can be said about something God-sent!!!!
