This Year's Model Updates:

No longer a mere Yukon Denali spin-off, the radiant 2002 Cadillac Escalade bursts onto the luxury SUV scene and attempts to maul its competitors with a monstrous 6.0-liter engine and enough technology to satisfy the target demographic.

Pros:
  • Vigorous powerplant, best-in-class towing capacity, handles well for a large SUV.
Cons:
  • No optional entertainment system, awkward steering wheel design, must pay the premium for all-wheel drive to get the big engine.

  • Problems/not dependable - 2002 Cadillac Escalade
    By -

No doubt a beautiful vehicle BUT, 7months old and in the shop 7 times. A variety of problems the least a new rear end. The worst will not start and everytime it is allegedly a different problem. At this time it is not dependable. I ve had to use other vehicles for travel--just dont know when it will stop running. I contacted Bill Lang Cad today and am waiting for a response....
