The Cadillac Eldorado is a eonderful car. Its an absolute joy to drive. The seats hug your rear. It is a vast improvement over the 94 model that I previously owned.

I bought this car to be an every day driver to work and back (40 miles a day), and it has been far more than I expected! It has the coldest air of any vehicle I have ever driven (which is nice since I am in Arizona -- and I have driven over 50 different vehicles), and it has more power than I thought it would have!

My buddy had a 92 or 93 Eldorado with some 20 inch rims on it. I was WOWWED with the styling. He didnt have the Northstar engine, but I do. I got the ETC Touring Coupe, and the whole car feels SINFUL. I waited over 5 years for this car, and I have not been let down. I am still surprised with things like the "Turn" lighting, presets, dual zone air conditioning / heat, blah blah. Also, I am super impressed with the acceleration. This car is super quiet, and super smooth.

I have had my Eldorado for nearly a year now. I cannot tell you how the black exterior coupled with the black interior turns heads. The power is always there. I love dusting off little import tuners...they always underestimate the power of American design! I love this car!

I purchased my Cadillac Eldorado with 55,000 miles on it from its second owner who lives in Florida. The exterior color is Pearl White Tri-Coat. It has received many compliments already. I live in Washington state, so we have had a very wet winter and I have not really seen the car in the bright sunlight, but Im sure it will dazzle. So far the car has measured up outstandingly, othern than for a few cosmetic interior things that I had to fix. The engine is smooth. Its average gas mileage is 20 mpg, which surprised me as I drive this car very aggressive. It has a rich throaty sound coming from the exhaust when I step on it! All the amenities work great, I love the heated leather seats and memory adjustments. I love my car!

  • Awesome Vehicle - 2001 Cadillac Eldorado

This car is truly awesome. The ride and feel are fantastic. Ive owned two other Eldorados (90 and 95) and this one outperforms the others, hands down. After owning one, I knew I had to have another one. It will definately get out of its way. It is very peppy and a true joy to drive. I love my car.

  • Great "Blingmobile" - 1996 Cadillac Eldorado

I purchased my 1996 Cadillac Eldorado used with 36,000 miles on it. The previous owner added wire wheels, vogue tires, atainless rocker panels, wheel well fender trim, and white Landau top. The paint is a beautiful metallic maroon. I constantly get positive comments from passers-by. It has a very responsive Northstar engine and holds the road really well. My previous car was a 92 Eldorado, black with a cream interior in great shape but when I happened upon this car I was really taken by the look. I had to have it. Having experienced some repair costs with my prevoius Eldorado I decided to purchase a warranty plan with this one. Cadillac dealer repairs are extremely expensive. I look forward to driving this car, too bad theyve dropped production.

  • New Baby - 1999 Cadillac Eldorado

I have to say that I just got this car so my ratings are driven by perception and not so much experience. But since I purchased this car, I have not had any mechanical issues. The engine is something else, all that power and so smooth. I love the sound and the comfort of the seats. My only real concern is with the maintenance history of battery changes. So Im watching this closely. Ive also noted that the interior dash lights dim (very little) when I press the brake pedal. Im also slightly concerned with the floating feel of the ride as Im not sure if this is inherent to the design. On the next check-up Ill have this checked out. Otherwise Im in love with my new baby.

  • Great Car - 1992 Cadillac Eldorado

I bought this car with 125,000 miles on the odometer and have put over 20,000 more miles on it since I purchased it less than a year ago and the car has been great. Its powerful, reliable, comfortable, and good looking. Its fuel economy isnt great, but the 4.9 engine has been very solid. I am particulary amazed at the build quality. The car still has the original a/c and it blows as cold as ice. I would recommend this car to anyone.

  • Very Very Very Upset - 1998 Cadillac Eldorado
    By -

When I first got my 1998 Cadillac Eldorado, I loved it no doubt about it. It is very classy and very comfy and the price was right. It gives a very nice ride. However after my first two years with it everything that could go wrong did. I completly replaced the cooling system in the engine I mean everything from the water pump to the radiator every hose and even the bucket the holds the coolent. It was just this great big money pit. Finally the head gasket went that was a mini fourturne to replace. The Northstar engine is the biggest joke 10 mechanics said the same thing. Im also very upset with the way Cadilac treated me they were so rude and fought me on every problem.
