  • Nice to look at, thats all. - 1997 Cadillac Eldorado

I own an Eldorado touring coupe, and trust me the looks are the only good traits. Since I bought this car the AC has went out three times and living in Florida AC is a must. Service Engine Soon Light goes on and off wheneever it wants, so do the digital sensors. The water hose belt gets tangled at least once a month and causes car to overheat even aftertaking it to the dealership to replace the belt and pulleys. I am disappointed in Cadillac for this one.

  • Excellent Overall Vehicle - 1995 Cadillac Eldorado

This car is amazing. To be able to out perform many other luxury cars on the road and still maintain a very comfortable ride while doing so. This car has extremely fast acceleration and excellent road sensing suspension. This car is very fun to drive all the time.

The design of the 1995 Eldorado is beautiful and perfect. The interior though, including the trunk, leaves much to be desired. The interior seems poorly designed. There are no bins or little areas to stash road maps and such. Mechanically, the Cadillac is designed wery well and the Northstar Engine seems perfect, except that is uses more oil than any car I have ever owned. When accellerating at full power, if the steering wheel is not exactly straight, the steering wheel will be jerked straight and the car will be zig zagging for a while until it finds an equilibrium. Fuel mileage is very good for this type car.

Have black. Beautiful car when clean. Turns heads. Fun to drive. Worried about reliability however. Had to install $700 radiator, and using quart of oil every 1000-1500 miles.

Beautiful automobile, fun to drive (especially, for such a large ride) and all the features youd ever wish for. HOWEVER, General Motors/Cadillac should STILL work on their quality. I have owned several of these fine automobile and will admit, there has been improvement. Although, not enough for the price and class of this vehicle

  • Good car for the value - 1997 Cadillac Eldorado

1st Cadillac ever owned and it has been a very good car. Lots of comments about how good it looks. Dont know if it was worth sticker price new but I feel it was a good value at the used price. Rides like a caddy should.

  • Eldorad OH NO! - 1997 Cadillac Eldorado

Bought it used.Seemed like a solid dependable car,but the radiator started leaking(cheap plastic). Then the check engine light came on.While waiting for the diagonsis the mechanics guessed that it might be a big problem with some oil valve something. It wasnt, just a clogged EGR tube which they said was typical. It uses oil, gets less than anticipated mpg,A/C cools less than a Caddy should, and warning lights go off and on without rhyme or reason. The A/C conked out in midwinter and I may not bother with fixing. The turn signal lever needed to be fixed, too.I am not satisfied and wish I had heard about these problems before deciding on a Caddy.

  • Be careful of oil usage - 1997 Cadillac Eldorado

Exceptional performance and handling, but the Northstar engine is a pig when it comes to oil consumption. Be aware that the fix is more than the car is worth.

  • Love my Caddy - 2000 Cadillac Eldorado

Excellent handling car! Looks good and feels great. Not bad on gas mileage for the size of the engine. This is a very smooth ride.

  • 1996 Eldo - 1996 Cadillac Eldorado

Its been a great car just wish I had bought the 4 door Seville since it is tough for people to access the back seat.
