Finally a rear wheel drive!!! And the exterior styling that is unique, not a run of the mill generic jelly bean. Now if only my CTS had some horse power! It is really lacking in that department. The V6 just doesnt have the power you would expect. A real disappointment. Im not happy with the "early" shift pattern of the auto trans either. This would be a dynamite car with a V8!

I ordered in April 2001. My CTS arrived in May (4 weeks from the day I ordered it). What an awesome car. I absolutely love it. I havent seen any others on the road since I got mine. So I get a lot of attention from other drivers, pedestrians, etc. A lot of "thumbs up".

  • Beware of High Repair costs - 2003 Cadillac CTS

Just a word to the wise. Cadillac patented all parts for this car right down to the battery. There is a microchip in the battery that ensures you buy an AC delco. I had to have some repairs done on the head gasket seals and the power steering had a leak, and the repairs cost over $2,300 just for those two. If you are thinking about buying a CTS and expect to "trick" the car by buying other parts, just look for a different car because I had the battery replaced with a non-AC Delco battery and the car didnt detect the microchip and told OnStar I stole the vehicle and they disabled the car until I replaced it with good old AC Delco. If you are rich, this is a good car for you.

  • CTS - Is the press ignoring a great car? - 2003 Cadillac CTS

A fresh change from my normal Buick Regal (Three in a row - about 2 years use each); the CTS handles wonderful - zippy and yet a smooth enough road ride for someone like me that travels heavily. Superb sound system and excellent driver visibility! I have approx. 7000 miles on it already; and have noticed the press has turned their attention from even reviewing this car with any peers?!

The best automobile Ive owned in the last 39years. Outstanding performance matched with great design! A winner!

  • A great car - 2003 Cadillac CTS

This car has been a great car, except for the replacing of the struts, $800, and then the brake light on the trunk $300. I would reccomend this car to anyone. For being a V6 it gets good gas mileage, and for an 03 it still looks the new style.

  • Good sports sedan value - 2003 Cadillac CTS

Chose the CTS as a pre-owned car, fully loaded with Bose/Luxury package. Overall, its a nice car that drives as well (if not as tautly) as my previous BMW. More car for the money, and a very good used car deal.
