  • The Last Great GMC Ride - 1996 Buick Roadmaster

Excellent ride, great towing ability, with power to spare. That handles well in smow and ice. And every kid in the niebourhood loves to ride in with the rear facing seat and sun roof.

  • If your over 6 tall dont buy this car! - 1996 Buick Roadmaster

This car is a grocery getting rocket with power to spare. Ufortunately it was designed by and for the 7 dwarfs. Anybody who is over 6 feet tall will be VERY VERY VERY uncomforable in this car. The rear seat is all right but the front passenger seat is unbearable! Shame on you GM!

  • Great car, small trunk - 1995 Buick Roadmaster

Got my car at 10,000 miles from a relative. Super fast pickup with a lot of power for the highway. Very smooth, very well appointed.

Look out the windshield, and the view across the hood is one of limousine feel, deep color, stead V-8 quiet and cush. Sadly, it gets worse as you move back: the middle seats are almost a cruel trick in their shallow depth, so youre never quite sitting (unless you are shorter than 4 feet). Then the back, which should be all fun, has a nice seat, but crappy, flappy plastic covers over the spare, with locking screws that give up, stick out, and snag on the folding of the rear seat up and down. But, it handles, for a wagon, amazingly. Its fast, strong, smooth and durable. Last of the classic old indestructible V-8 monstermobiles.

  • Retail Value ? - 1994 Buick Roadmaster

Interior & exterior in good condition except for some peeling woodgrain on trim strips. No mechanical problems other than change of A/C l8 months back. Regularly serviced, 1 owner, good tires, brakes redone. 95,000 miles. Have just purchased a 2002 Cadillac Escalade and refused the trade in offer.

  • Great Car - 1994 Buick Roadmaster

Driven for 186,000 miles. Only one major repair. Exchange transmission fluid at 75,000 miles. Biggest headache - brakes - warped rotors, brake dust, etc. Major repair - spark plug wires and distributor cap (expensive to repair). Has original exhaust system - first auto for me that went over 50K without needing an exhaust system. No rust. No evidence of impending problems with the sheet metal. It goes like a bat out of XXXX but gives great mileage if driven sensably - always gets better than 22 MPG at highway speeds plus 10. GM - BUILD THIS CAR AGAIN - ILL BUY IT. Looking for 1996 cream puff of this car with less than 50K miles.

  • Not bad for an elderly car - 1996 Buick Roadmaster

This car has the power to go - it can give a mustang a run for its money. Even though the mustang may be a current model and my wagon is 8years old (94). The only thing that I hate is the mpg. If I unleash all the horses the gas mileage is pocket denting. The vista roof is great. If you ever see this car or a close relative - Olsmobile Custom Cruiser(91-92) 170BHP Chevrolet Caprice Classic Wagon(91-93) 180BHP (94-96)260BPHP Give it respect - It was built to last.

  • a good car - 1992 Buick Roadmaster

my 92 buick roadmaster has been a verry good car. gm put a new moter in it at 5000 miles and anew transmisson at 25000 miles. other than that, i put new brakes at 55000 and new battery in 01. the brakes are better than on my 97 caddy, which i bought in 97 since 96 was the last year for the roadmaster. too bad they quit making them. im only selling it because i moved beside the country club and i now need garage space for my electric golf cart and my rider lawn mower.

Where else on the planet can you find such a versitile car like this... without going broke ? Full perimiter frame, power to spare, an ungodly towing capacity, all the creature comforts... and the damn things just dont die ! Great for family or formal.
