Overview & Reviews
Additional equipment is the only thing that distinguishes the 2007 BMW 5 Series from last year's model. Heading up the list is a standard four-year subscription to BMW Assist, a communications system that automatically contacts your BMW dealer when your car needs service, and summons help in the event of a collision. In addition, there's now an auxiliary input jack for MP3 players and optional high-definition radio, which provides CD-quality sound on FM stations that broadcast in HD. Vehicles with the Sport package get a new steering wheel design and 20-way adjustable multicontour front seats. Finally, 5 Series buyers have the option of getting BMW's Night Vision system, which uses a thermal imaging camera to detect obstacles up to 1,000 feet in front of the car.
- Exceptional ride and handling dynamics, smooth and vigorous engines, premium cabin furnishings, precision build quality, strong resale value.

Home Run - 2007 BMW 5-Series
By Cinco Cinco - November 27 - 7:27 pmThis is the 3rd BMW that I owned, second 5 series. This is one sweet car. Mine is black w/brick color interior. BMWs are reliable and fun to drive and are SAFE! Plenty of room in car and trunk.

Love my car - 2007 BMW 5-Series
By Donald Thorn - November 25 - 1:52 pmThis is the first bimmer I have owned and it will not be the last, unless I keep this one forever. The car drives and handles great and is a pleasure to operate. I also feel very safe in my bimmer. The car is very well insulated and outside noise is almost unheard. I purchased the premium sound system and love it. The iDrive was a little daunting to begin with, but I have mastered it and if I can do it, anybody can. I would highly recommend this car to anyone.

First Time BMW Owner - 2007 BMW 5-Series
By shardy - November 7 - 12:43 pmI love the drive and acceleration in this car. Feels like riding on a cloud when you put this car on the highway. Has good sound insulation and of course that classic, handsome look of the BMW. The standard stereo system is great with good sound quality.

The best BMW yet - 2007 BMW 5-Series
By Michelle - October 24 - 3:19 pmThis is my 4th BMW and I have never been disappointed. It wasnt until the new 07 525 that I was actually blown away. It is light years ahead of my old 528. All the new electronics (voice activation, navigation, iDrive, iPod, bluetooth) are worth every penny especially if you use your car as your mobile office.

Comfort, performance, & style - 2007 BMW 5-Series
By m wong - October 14 - 4:53 pmMy 550I is fun to drive, especially on the open road. Gas mileage in city driving is on the low side, freeway driving is excellent. Vehicle comfort and handling is excellent. Performance is excellent. The "heads up" display needs improvement (my 2001 Corvettes C5, heads up display is by far superior). Styling...always gets head turning!
