I Love This Car - 2004 BMW 5-Series
By Ed - August 15 - 11:54 pmThis car is fun to drive and it makes me smile when I drive it. The dealer was the best Ive dealt with, their service department does what it promises. I highly recommend this car and dealer.

545i is pretty darn nice - 2004 BMW 5-Series
By Momo - August 14 - 10:00 amI purchased a 545i today after driving a 530i Sport package demo. This car is pretty awesome. The 6 speed auto transmission was surprisingly smooth and did a nice job of kicking into lower gears coming out of the apex of my turns. Anyone who thinks the new i- Drive is difficult simply lacks any degree of common sense. I found the system easy to navigate. And BMW did a nice job of adding a menu button to get back to the main screen if you shold get lost and functional knobs for the temp control and raido volume, which pretty much eliminates the necessity to use the i-Drive when you are driving.

bmw545 is a fantastic car - 2004 BMW 5-Series
By hotbasketball - August 8 - 2:00 amfantastic power, fantastic handling, corners like a dream,,very good pickup, I recommend the upgraded seats,,very comfortable with side electronic bolsters, and articulating upper half of back seat,,,cup holders are poorly positioned as usual, and the moon roof makes alot of wind noise due to the poorly designed wind dam that has teeth that howel,,im getting the new M5 in 05

Pretty close to perfect - 2004 BMW 5-Series
By panderse - August 8 - 2:00 amThis is just an awesome vehicle. I drove other japanese cars claiming to be in the same class, and while they had impressive specs, none could come close to the driving experience of the 5. Plenty of power, flawless transmission with sport and manual modes, and impecible handling. I found immediately that i need to work on my driving skills because this car does exactly what you tell it to. I know people are complaining about iDrive, but I find it pretty easy to use. Althought i work with computers all day.

I GOT THE RIGHT ONE, BABY!!! - 2004 BMW 5-Series
By Bimmamma - July 18 - 8:40 amIve had this car for a little while now and I really like the quickness of it (mind you, I said quickness, not fastness). The handling is unbeatable!!! Doesnt seem to hug the curves like my 92 525i does but it still knows its a Bimmer and it comes in at a close second!!!!

the 5 series beauty - 2004 BMW 5-Series
By Bryan Johns - June 20 - 2:00 amLove the design, both inside and out. Ordered the car in Oct., came in with different seats (less comfortable) than the car in the showroom....wish it had the GPS, not available for a while. Corners like a Porsche...awesome! Cruises fast and firm, and has a really tight turning radius. The most beautiful sedan on the road.

Im in love - 2004 BMW 5-Series
By jlma - June 5 - 2:24 amI am delighted by my 530. It is a joy to drive it. I look for out of town trips in order to really feel the car. It has had no problem, other than a cracked windshield, caused by a stone that a truck tire sent flying into the glass.

First Time 5 Owner... - 2004 BMW 5-Series
By Beamer Novice - May 14 - 2:00 amA well built tight driving car. Smooth ride and suspension and handles like a sports car with a luxary feel to it. Idrive takes a day or two to master but after that its a real pleasure to set controls and only reset them as desired. No clutter of buttons or switches on the dash to deal with. Im a BMW owner for life now. Maybe the next one will be the 7 Series.
