This Year's Model Updates:

For 2003, BMW will finally offer a DVD-based navigation system -- meaning that you won't have to give up an in-dash CD player if you opt for the nav system. Other changes include a standard front armrest for all 325 models, as well as a rear center headrest for all sedans and wagons. Additionally, all wagons will come with a moonroof. In terms of options, the Premium Package for all 325s now includes automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, and the Sport Package for the 330xi includes double-spoke alloy wheels and run-flat tires.

Pros:
  • Luxurious, powerful, exceptional road manners, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
Cons:
  • Pricey for its market segment, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity.

  • 0-60 in less than 7 secs- Way less! - 2003 BMW 3-Series

This is the most fun car I have ever owned - it is true about BMW drivers - you do drive more aggressively - and it is because you can. It holds the road and excellerates very fast - I never fear that I can pull out onto a road and get my speed up quickly - When taking sharp bends it holds the road as if it was on a track - and going down hill if you down shift it does not freewheel out of control - I never have to hit the brakes on each bend - It is easy to shift and the clutch is like butter - anyone could learn to drive in it -

this is my 5th bimmer, and over all all of them are very good, not excellent. leather seats its poor quality, they break and crack in less than 3 years old,and carpets they are not very good either, engine is very reliable.

  • Great exterior, dodgey interior......... - 2003 BMW 3-Series

I love the exterior styling of my 325 CI! Unfortunately the interior stylists were not as talented. Power window controlsa are place uncomfortably. Passenger powerseat controls are inconveniantly places for the driver to operate and the seatbelts constantly get hungup on the seat release levers. A subtle reshaping of the sunvisors would allow them more upward movement. The coin holder is a rediculous and ill- located design. The armrest covers one of the cupholders unless lifted up.... Not well designer on the whole. The Japanese have it better thought out.

Excellent car. Safe and fun to drive.

  • Nice Car - 2003 BMW 3-Series

Four passenger sport cars are hard to come by, but my 2001 BMW 330CI sure fits the bill. I wanted a convertable along with the option to carry passengers. Shopping you just dont find any other car that can offer high preformance, sleek styling, comfort in the drive, and four seats.

  • Arguably the best convertible ever - 2003 BMW 3-Series

Head turner with the top down (Light blue with grey leather interior and dk blue top). Super to drive and smooth as silk. Good air conditioning for german car and (at last) adjustable steering column.

  • Ultimate Tanning Machine! - 2003 BMW 3-Series

Great Car! The car is 6 years old and still turns heads. It certainly turns mine every time I walk away from it. The car offers great balance of performance and luxury. The fact that it is a convertible is an icing on the cake. It is very quiet with the top up and offers great insulation (even during WI winter).

  • fun to drive but noisy and rough ride - 2003 BMW 3-Series

sports like handling but rought ride may make your daily trip become tiring.

  • BEST Car Ive EVER Owned! - 2003 BMW 3-Series

This is the 3rd one Ive owned, and 2 other family members as well. None of us have had a minutes trouble with them. Owned Japanese during 80s/90s, until my 1st 330Ci. Gas mileage is amazing for such a powerful car. I average 35+ by keeping it at steady speed, but it has more than enough power when needed (couldnt tell the difference in it & my sisters M3). Hugs road like a dream. I should have flipped several times, once in rain, once avoiding a deer on curve, and it proved its safety engineering. One collision left me with MINIMAL damage compared to the other guy. I will forever have my children and parents in this car. Service is impeccable...take care of it and it will take care of you.

  • Objective Review - 2003 BMW 3-Series

1.Chasis & exterior build very impressive. Howver, there creaks & noises from the interior. Also, my cars transmission makes a whirring noise loud enough to make conversation difficult, dealership just said "Its impossible to have no noise."Engine light comes on, they cant figure out why. 2. Dealership attitude. Combine 1+2, anticipate to have a very antagonist ownership. As a physician, seeing over 7,500 patient/yr in their most stressful & oftentimes angry state,I possess excellent personal skills, diffusing any confrontations.I have been to four different dealerships,& each time, I was invariably yelled at or ignored for some small incident.
