Overview & Reviews
The BMW 3 Series sedan and wagon have been completely redesigned for 2006. Major highlights include new features, more powerful engines, a slightly larger interior and the incorporation of BMW's latest exterior styling elements. The 3 Series coupe and convertible are unchanged this year but will eventually move over to the new platform being used for the sedan and wagon; expect to see a new hardtop convertible for the 2008 model year.
- Still the standard when it comes to perfectly sorted vehicle dynamics, high-quality interior materials, wide range of configurations to suit any style, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
- Still costs more than most of its competitors, lacking in interior storage space.

Kims BMW - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By Kjohn019 - March 19 - 6:10 amI loved this car the minute I saw it. Once I drove it, I knew I would purchase it. I have always loved BMWs and I now own three of them. You can not beat the power, dependability, luxury, style, handling, and the way it makes you feel when you are in the cockpit. It is a beautiful car, and I will never get rid of it. I still own my 1989 BMW and that was purchased new.

Ultimate Driving Experience - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By JamesP - February 11 - 3:00 pmI purchased the 325i to replace my Acura RL. The driving experience is like no other. Six speed manual versus sluggish Acura RL automatic transmission defines the driving experience. Quick, fun, and sporty. Integrated iPod auxillary port was a nice bonus making a CD disc changer obsolete.

AWESOME - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By hhanjali - February 4 - 4:36 pmI finally received my 325i last week (maunual, graphite metallic w/black leather, premium pckg adn premium sound) after waiting for 8 weeks. It was definitely worth the wait, I am so glad I did not decide to go with something else. This is my first bimmer and I think I finally found the right car for myself. The ride is amazing and definitelly a car is a head-turner. I strongly recommend this car!

Love my E90 - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By Debbie - January 18 - 7:50 amI love the new E90 body style!! I got the 6sp with sports package. Drives like a DREAM. Although I hate the CDV when shifting the gears. What a huge difference it made when I removed the CDV... now it shifts very smooth.

7 month review - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By Ab - January 11 - 2:23 amI have owned the car for about 7 months and the car is a dream to drive. I have no complaints. It truly delivers on performance, style, and quality. However, I truly regret not getting the iDrive when I ordered the car. I took the bad advice from Edmunds, Car and Drive, Motor Trend, and other car magazines. The iDrive is not hard to use and its very easy to operate unless you are computer illiterate. It provides so many features that are useful, including the NAV. I am thinking of getting a new 330i just to get the IDrive. ThatÂ’s how disappointed I am for not getting the IDrive. My advice, test the iDrive and then make a decision. Do not listen to these editors because they are not computer savvy.
