This Year's Model Updates:

A six-speed SMG (Sequential Manual Gearbox) transmission is now optional on select 3 Series models, while a five-speed Steptronic automatic is now offered with the 330i Performance Package. Rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights and hands-free wireless cell phone capability are now standard features on the sedan and wagon. There are new alloy wheel designs for the 325i, 325xi and 330xi Sport Package. All 330i sedans get a revised grille -- a new black grille instead of silver, with a lower grille combination of body color and black. All 3 Series coupes and convertibles receive a revised front fascia, plus new front and rear bumper contours, Adaptive headlamps and taillights and new designs for both the standard and optional wheels. Interior changes are limited to a revised climate control panel. Finally, Sirius Satellite Radio is now available as an accessory on all 3 Series models.

Pros:
  • Available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
  • Luxurious, powerful, exceptional road manners
Cons:
  • Pricey for its market segment, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity.

I recently purchased a 330xi. I test drove everything in its class and above, and really enjoy the handling and road feel of this car. Power form the 6 is smooth, awesome brakes. Just took it out in fresh powder for a spin, and it does ok with the AWD, just not like my Escalade. What you would expect with 50 series rubber.

This is my second three series car and I was so amazed at the quality and engineering that went into my 2000 323Ci that I got a new 2003 330i. This marks the very first time I have ever bought the same car twice. For me, that is saying a lot about a vehicle. I think that the 3 series is the true world car, the benchmark in its class and obviously one that every manufacturer wishes were theirs. I hope the new 3 series that debuts late next year is just as nice....because if it is, Im marching myself down to my BMW store and getting yet another....of course in jet black too!

Almost one month old and 500 miles later. The car rides and handles great with a tight, solid and sporty feel. The car really hugs the road on turns and the slight roar of the engine enhances the performance care experience. Not a single problem to date.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this car. I own the 184HP 325i Sedan w/Automatic Tranny and it holds its end of the bargain VERY WELL!! Im highly impressed!!

Having this car made for me was GREAT, but actually seeing it for the first time was like nothing I can describe. When I finally got behind the wheel, it was just like the logo says, DRIVING EXCITEMENT!

I LOVE this car. It is beautiful to look at. It rides and handles like a fighter jet(Im guessing).I feel happy to run the most mundane errands. Room for 5 plus sports car dynamics. I got the M- sport option,18 inch rims, body kit, stiffer suspension, and I love the sense of oneness with the road it brings. I tested the Acura TL,and almost bought one. Then I drove the 330ci. Rear wheel drive is the only way to go. I got a great lease rate and super high residual. So it costs not much more than an Accord or Passat.

Cant believe this ride! Handles great. Sport package is a must! You have to drive it to truly appreciate it. Passing by the bmw logo on your way into the house is pretty special too.

Ordered a 2003 in Jan then changed my order to the 2004 model as soon as they were announced. Took a few extra months (did euro delivery) but I am so glad I did. (1) got the new mystic blue and (2) got the 6 speed manual. The 3.0 litre engine is as sweet a 6 cyl as youll ever find. If you are in the market for a convertible, drive this one last (then you will be right there at the dealership when you place your order!)
