The BMW 3 Series sedan and wagon have been completely redesigned for 2006. Major highlights include new features, more powerful engines, a slightly larger interior and the incorporation of BMW's latest exterior styling elements. The 3 Series coupe and convertible are unchanged this year but will eventually move over to the new platform being used for the sedan and wagon; expect to see a new hardtop convertible for the 2008 model year.

• Still the standard when it comes to perfectly sorted vehicle dynamics, high-quality interior materials, wide range of configurations to suit any style, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.

• Still costs more than most of its competitors, lacking in interior storage space.

  Just bought a new 2006 325i this summer in electric red! Drives like no other car Ive owned. Factory stereo totally "BUMPS", Love everything about the car except, the "SHARK " fin on the back! (satellite receiver) Wish they could have done something different there. ( more compact perhaps).

  The car is fun to drive. I have the 2006 325I with sports package, premium package, Navigation, Xenon, and 6 speed Manual. The car is smooth through all gears and handles excellent. Idrive is excellent. It takes the edge off of any trip. The lighting is excellent and seats fit perfectly. This is the best car I ever drove. The cabin is very quiet at 100 MPH, and i had the car up to 135 MPH in the desert and it was solid. This car was built for the autostrada...

  Traded in 2003 330i for this. Initially, I have some reservation. But only the second day of owning it, I cant even find enough excuses driving it. The engine is superbly smooth. The 6-speed manual executed perfectly. Got it black on black with aluminum trim. Im loving it more each day. Best decision ever made. Pick up is excellent even in 6th gear.

  Ive only had the car for a week but I am already in love! I went from a Mercedes to this absolute rocket. Looks, performance, it has it all. The total experience is what one would expect from buying a luxury sports sedan from Germany. I will never go back to Mercedes.

  Fun - 2006 BMW 3-Series

  A fun car to drive. I love the solid feel and its handling on the curves. It has great power once it gets going but the initial acceleration is a bit disappointing, maybe because of the all wheel drive. All in all a great vehicle.

  Ever since I bought my car last month, it has been excellent. I have owned a 03 300m, 03 325i, and 04 TL. The new 330i is by far the best car I have driven!!!! I have the premium, cold, and sport packages (sport package worth the money). For car lovers, get the manual, it is more enjoyable than the automatic. The interior and exterior designs are great. For the older generation, it might be a problem, but for me (27) it is excellent. It is about time BMW updated their look to target the younger generation! I give the 06 330 3 thumbs up!!! (If I only had an extra one).

  I just picked up my 2006 325i (Jet black exterior, blakc interior, manual, Sport package) a couple weeks ago and I am absolutely loving it. Not only is the E90 a beauty to look at, but its a beauty to drive too. I am glad I chose this over the G35 Coupe 6MT.

  The car drives absolutely amazing. It grasps the road like no other car. My car was custom made to perfection and the way I would want it. I have not seen anyone with my Barrique Red color, thankfully. The car is truly and absolutely amazing! This was definitely the best 18th birthday present ever!

  I almost bought an Audi A3, but something kept nagging me to give the new a 3 a test drive. I loved my 03 325ci, but wanted two more doors. Holy cow am I glad that on a whim I decided to drive this car. I am not crazy about the exterior styling, but who really cares witha car that drives this well. If is simply the most amazing car I have ever driven. I got mine with a manuals transmission, sport and premium packages and i-drive. All the bad press about the iDrive is hooey. If you have half a brain, it works great. I dont spend much time fiddling with it though. I am too busy throwing this car around like a race car!

  Picked it up in Munich on 9/15/05. Absolutely no problem with the car since overseas delivery. Sport package is unreal!. Drives like it is on rails. Going to BMW driving school this week. Would never go back to Mercedes. I am 63 and too young for a Merc.
