This Year's Model Updates:

BMW has seen fit to give the sedans and wagons a facelift for 2002. An in-dash CD player finally makes it onto the standard features list. The center stack has been altered to accommodate the new automatic climate controls. Steptronic automanual operation has been altered so that you move the transmission lever forward for downshifts and backward for upshifts. Bi-xenon headlamps are on the options list so that both low and high beams can glow a cold blue and can be set to automatic operation. Rear side airbags are available for coupes and convertibles. Two new colors, Electric Red and Gray Green (and a Natural Brown interior leather) join the color spectrum.

Pros:
  • Luxurious, powerful, exceptional road manners, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
Cons:
  • Pricey for their market segment, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity.

Im a single college student got my baby straight out of high school with 130,000 miles my car had 220,000 miles on it before I was in a accident and outside of normal wear and tear I never had any problems. Great for traveling, amazing on gas. This car handles amazingly and hugs the road. BMW truly lives up to the name the ultimate driving machine.

Bought the car in dec. 2001, great car. Love the smoothness of the inline 6. power is not as abundant as in the 330ci, however I chose to rather have all the goodies and load the 325ci.

I bought an American Spec 325xi 1 year ago and have been driving around Germany ever since (currently on 3 year tour in Stuttgart). This car flat out rocks! Its as smooth at 130mph than it is at 70. I typically drive between 100mph and 120mph when taking road trips and find myself loving every minute of it. Its even a pleasure to drive around town. I would recommend this car over all others in its class.

A fun car to drive. Well behaved suspension and ample power encourage high speed touring.

I have never owned a more perfect car. Its fast, beautful, and simply fun to drive. The longer I own it, the more I love it. Problems have been non- existant. The only issue I have is BMW service...but compared to other service places I have dealt with (Audi, Caddy, Ford, etc.) they are fine.

  • Fabulous! - 2002 BMW 3-Series

I love every bit of this vehicle. I can see why all the magazines praise the BMW 3 Series. The acceleration and handling is top notch. Every stop light Im like darting in front of everyone. I got the Electric Red and the exterior will catch every neighbors attention. The interior quality is elegant with comfortable leather seats. The Harmon/Kardon w/ 12 speakers give great surround sound. Have yet to test it in the rain and snow with AWD but every review has been good about that. I highly recommend it even with its high price tag, its worth the money.

  • Slightly pricey but drives great - 2002 BMW 3-Series

Drives really well especially with the top down. Surprisingly 184 HP is plenty for regular driving. Dont know why BMW does not include an alarm system on a car that easily costs $40K plus out of the door.

  • Nice Car - 2002 BMW 3-Series

Well the car is a bit pricy compares with its competitors. However, with BMWs name, it is worth the money. So far, I havent had any problem and I follow the manufacturers recommended maintenance schedule and some extra services to keep my car in good shape. My final word - "who doesnt like the ultimate driving machine?"
