All 330i sedans get a revised grille -- a new black grille instead of silver, with a lower grille combination of body color and black. All 3 Series coupes and convertibles receive a revised front fascia, plus new front and rear bumper contours, Adaptive headlamps and taillights and new designs for both the standard and optional wheels. Interior changes are limited to a revised climate control panel. Finally, Sirius Satellite Radio is now available as an accessory on all 3 Series models.

Pros:
  • Available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
  • Luxurious, powerful, exceptional road manners
Cons:
  • Pricey for its market segment, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity.

  • BMW 330CI Coupe Special Sports Edition - 2004 BMW 3-Series

The car is not cheap, expecially this sports edition. But as with all BMWs you get your moneys worth. The 3-series is still the best car in the world in its class. My car has 6 cyl engine producing 235 hp whihe is more than most 5-series cars. In this car everything is power. Power steering wheel, power windows including rear windows, power rear shades,3-way power seats incl passenger side, seat heating both front seats, Ski bag, 8 speaker Harmon Kardon CD player, Xenon headlights, power 2-way sunroof etc etc But what makes this car so special is its precise steering and acceleration. It is indeed the ultimate driving machine !!!

  • BMW 325xi w/Sport Package - 2004 BMW 3-Series

I recently purchased the BMW 325xi with sport and premium packages and couldnt be happier. The car drives great and looks even better. The best decision I made was getting a 5 speed with the sport package. I was a little worried about driving a manual transmission, however I drove a loaner 325i w/o the sports package and this isnt even the same car. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone, great buy.

  • No other car will do - 2004 BMW 3-Series

I previously owned a 320 BMW convertible, and was persuaded to upgrade to the 330. The difference is noticeable. I love the acceleration from a standing start, and the car is even more fun to drive than its predecessor. With a BMW convertible, you can really feel the driving, and hear the engine. I like being able to sense the road beneath the wheels: a true drivers car. It also helps that I have done the BMW driver training program, which gives you more information and practical tips on how to handle these powerful cars. My only gripe is that driving in LA traffic, I dont get to push the car as often as I would like!

  • The Ultimate!!! - 2004 BMW 3-Series

This 330XI is awesome!!! It has a good ammount of power, very good handling and good braking power!!! The build quality is second to none!!! The Step-Tronic is fun and sport mode is good for that extra rpm raising power!!! Im just waiting to test the car in the snow with the AWD.

This car is glued to the road. I didnt want an SUV, yet I needed some cargo space and all wheel drive, and a Subaru just didnt do much for me. As soon as I drove the BMW I was hooked. It has a great stereo, decent cargo capacity with the seats folded down, and has been getting over 25 MPG. And the handling! I live in the mountains, and the car is just amazing. Even when going into a turn very hot, as long as you keep your foot on the gas pedal, the sliding is minimal. Truely amazing. If you chicken out and let off the gas, it will slide though. I have no regrets.

  • Love my bimmer - 2004 BMW 3-Series

Ive only had the car 3 days but Im already hooked. Ive driven over 350 miles...thats how much fun it is to drive my 325i. This car handles beautifully...stops on a dime and is extremely responsive to the driver. I can now understand what BMW owners mean when describing their "ultimate driving machines". Go get one...you wont be disappointed!

  • whatever happened to quality ? - 2004 BMW 3-Series

I purchased a new 325i and when the car had 600miles, the problems began. The instrument cluster blacked out for about 30secs while I was driving on the freeway at night and that reset everything, but the total miles driven. Quite a frightening experience not knowing what was going on with the new car while driving 65mph. Soon the service engine indicator came on and when the car came to a complete stop, it was shaking violently. I brought the car back to the dealer and the mechanic made it out to be a tiny little problem, peanuts he said. So they supposedly fixed the problem, but after a month, the service engine light is on again at 2000miles.

  • Too good to be true! - 2004 BMW 3-Series

This was a car I thought would be very good. I was wrong. It is truly superior to any car I have ever driven or owned (this is my 12th purchase). The car handles perfectly. The engine has more power than I will ever need. I can barely tell when the auto changes gear. The steptronic adds some excitement as well. A true 9.9 out of 10!!!
