This Year's Model Updates:

The BMW 3 Series sedan and wagon have been completely redesigned for 2006. Major highlights include new features, more powerful engines, a slightly larger interior and the incorporation of BMW's latest exterior styling elements. The 3 Series coupe and convertible are unchanged this year but will eventually move over to the new platform being used for the sedan and wagon; expect to see a new hardtop convertible for the 2008 model year.

Pros:
  • Still the standard when it comes to perfectly sorted vehicle dynamics, high-quality interior materials, wide range of configurations to suit any style, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
Cons:
  • Still costs more than most of its competitors, lacking in interior storage space.

I am happy with my 2006 BMW 325i. This machine is the first luxury vehicle that I have ever owned and I am very pleased with it.

  • Key Fob Easy on Your Pocket - 2006 BMW 3-Series

When BMW came out with start button and keyfob-slot in 2006 3 series I questioned the rationale. Now I know one reason. The nagging stab of a car key in my back pocket has been replaced with a small light weight key fob. Its the small things in life that give me the most pleasure. If my old compact sedan is the "Wild Mouse", driving a BMW 3 is best compared to riding an inverted steel roller coaster. Excellent investment.

I just got this car last month, and I already fell in love with the car. My dream car is an M3, and this car is really the closet thing you can get to it, especially with the performance package, m wheels and body kit. Some people cant even tell the difference. The car sounds great, everyone that gets in it, mentions the sound of the car. The car take corners and turns better then any other car ive driven. I would highly recommend this car to any interested. or not interested.lol. I would suggest the 330 over the 325 as well because my sister has a 325, and I beat her in any race lol. If you can afford, go for the 330. Its an all around fun car to drive.

This is a great car and gets great gas mileage for the performance! The styling is much better than the 5 or 7 series. This one has more room than the outgoing version and Sport package is not as harsh either.

This is my second BMW. This car handles and looks great. Great A/C and radio. I am a little disappointed in some interior quality issues.

Once you test drive this car, its difficult to find another one that compares to the driving experience. If you like a boring car that wants to keep you home, dont buy this one. The safe and solid feel of the car is great and overall, it is a lot more refined than the previous model years. You do have to up the price to get the right blend of optional items but it is well worth it.

  • So far so good..... - 2006 BMW 3-Series

For the money, this cars handling is like no other . Now that is coming from a former SUV owner so take it as you may. The acceleration is awesome. I got sports/premium pack with steptronic trans. i see no benefit in Nav, so I saved the 2k. Besides, I like the dash without the "tent". Highway driving is very economical (30+ mpg), but city mileage is quite nostalgic of my yukon Denali.

  • Cant beat this car! - 2006 BMW 3-Series

Ive had my 330xi since January, and the driving experience gets better each day. The power and handling, as well as the 50/50 weight distribution make this a very fun automobile. I cant say much about the iDrive, I opted for the six speed manual with no navigation. I would recommend this car and BMW to anyone interested in purchasing a new car.

They arent wrong when they say its the Ultimate machine. The new design is neck breaking. Its performance is unbelievably good. This car deserves a 10 all the way.

This is the second 330i that we have own. The first was a 2003 and we thought they couldnt do better, they did. My wife who never before cared what car she drove loves the 330i. After the first one I had to go and get my own BMW.
