This Year's Model Updates:

A six-speed SMG (Sequential Manual Gearbox) transmission is now optional on select 3 Series models, while a five-speed Steptronic automatic is now offered with the 330i Performance Package. Rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights and hands-free wireless cell phone capability are now standard features on the sedan and wagon. There are new alloy wheel designs for the 325i, 325xi and 330xi Sport Package. All 330i sedans get a revised grille -- a new black grille instead of silver, with a lower grille combination of body color and black. All 3 Series coupes and convertibles receive a revised front fascia, plus new front and rear bumper contours, Adaptive headlamps and taillights and new designs for both the standard and optional wheels. Interior changes are limited to a revised climate control panel. Finally, Sirius Satellite Radio is now available as an accessory on all 3 Series models.

Pros:
  • Available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
  • Luxurious, powerful, exceptional road manners
Cons:
  • Pricey for its market segment, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity.

The 330CIC is not only fun to drive, it is also a sharp looking vehicle that turns heads. Excellent pick-up, highly recommend the 5-speed trans. Quality is flawless which is typical for German- built vehicles.

This is unquestionably the best sports convertible for the money. A perfect combination of room for people, luggage and/or golf clubs in a pure preformance convertible. A joy to drive.

I purchased my car in July 2003. One of the first to buy the 2004 model. I got the new color Mystic Blue and pin striped it according to the beige interior. Ive received many compliments on the color combination. Ive dreamed about this car since I was a kid. Finally treated myself to one on my 60th. birthday. I LOVE IT. What a great driving experience it is. Power, close to the road (hugging) 5 speed manual shifts wonderfully. I only wish they had made the 325 with the 6 speed manual transmission. Ive laid it up over the past winter in my garage (even covered it up) and cant wait to get it out and on the road again.

Recently my Porsche was stolen, so I decided to get something different. I decided to get a 4 door that was under 35k. Well, I decided to look at a BMW 325i. Since the day I purchased it I havent looked back. My new Beemer handles great, I sometimes forget Im driving a 4 door. Unlike Porsche, BMW pays for all your schd oil changes, brake pads, etc. To sum it up, BMW is turely "The ultimate driving experiance."

The BMW XI is an ubeleivably good handling car. The sport package is a must though. Without it you can feel that the car is a station wagon in corners, but with the sport package the ability of the car to carve a corner even after going beyond the tires ability to grip is breathtaking. It may not be a rocket ship in the straight lines, but if the road is snaking nice and tight, that WRX cant get away.

We have two kids and my wife likes to zoom. We got our 325iT built for us, including PP and sport package... and a manual transmission. We wanted something that can haul groceries or just haul. This is that wagon. It drives like a 325i sedan. Damn fun on the highway. Fun as well on twisty roads. Only downside is the rear seat can only seat two with kid car seats. Wish the cargo area were larger, but honestly that might make it lumbering. I wouldnt want to upset the balance of this jewel!

The Performance Package option may look a bit expensive, but the added tweaks are well worth it. Drive this car hard, and it wont complain. The ride is firm, but supple and not as jarring as an M can be. This car intuitively knows where I want it to go, and it feels confident and safe at any speed. I thought the steering wheel was a little weird at first (that suede stuff), but now it feel right. A truly awesome machine.
