This Year's Model Updates:

A six-speed SMG (Sequential Manual Gearbox) transmission is now optional on select 3 Series models, while a five-speed Steptronic automatic is now offered with the 330i Performance Package. Rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights and hands-free wireless cell phone capability are now standard features on the sedan and wagon. There are new alloy wheel designs for the 325i, 325xi and 330xi Sport Package. All 330i sedans get a revised grille -- a new black grille instead of silver, with a lower grille combination of body color and black. All 3 Series coupes and convertibles receive a revised front fascia, plus new front and rear bumper contours, Adaptive headlamps and taillights and new designs for both the standard and optional wheels. Interior changes are limited to a revised climate control panel. Finally, Sirius Satellite Radio is now available as an accessory on all 3 Series models.

Pros:
  • Available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
  • Luxurious, powerful, exceptional road manners
Cons:
  • Pricey for its market segment, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity.

Reasonable fun to drive. Interior design/style could be nicer for this price point. Window and doors have problems. Interior buttons break.

I just got a 2004 BMW 330 CiC and I hate the new headlights. The tail lights are nice. Plus the new bumper is kinda ugly. But I love the car it has no roof unlike the 2002 bmw 325 coupe i just traded in so when the weather is good the car is 10 times better.

Bought this car while in Italy so we are able to drive it to its limits. At higher speeds from 80-130mph the car is very sensitive to steering inputs. Drove through the Alps and it handled flawlessly. Backseat is tight with little headroom for taller passengers. Options are expensive but the car comes pretty well loaded.

  • The best!!! - 2004 BMW 3-Series

I have never owned a BMW before now. I can say that I find the experience to be incredible. The car has kick A-- attitude and it looks good too. I have only found 2 drawbacks so far. 1. The fuel economy isnt what I expected, but I should have known better and the back seats sit so upright that they lack comfort for even a 1 hour trip. All in all I would buy this car again and again and again. However, I reserve judgment on winter driving since I havent experienced that yet. Lets see how the car handles the North East winters!

Had 600 miles on the car and the transmission had to be replaced. Had several small problems with automatic windows.

  • Fifth BMW - 2004 BMW 3-Series

We have owned five BMW cars and this one is the best by far. The handling and mechanicals are superb. We have a Porsche 993C2S to compare it with and I cant say enough about the 5 speed automatic transmission which makes the Porsche Tiptronic feel primative by comparison. The only thing missing is the steering wheel shift controls which would make the 330Ci perfect. Comfort wise, the the car is ideal for long trips. The toll booth Grand Prix is great sport when youre driving a winner. The handling with the sport option is top notch although the current tires cause some tramlining.

This is the second BMW I have owned. The first was a 1999 323i and it was my most favorite car - but I totaled it on the ice. It saved my life, as I slid into ongoing traffic and was hit in the driver door with a van on the interstate. I walked away without a scratch. I finally found the 2004 325i that I have now. It is now my most favorite car. More power, came with arm rest and doesnt hesitate at starts into traffic

I am 22 years old. I work hard every day to drive a luxury/sport automobile. This is the BEST BEST car I have ever owned. I have had 2001 S4, 2002 C32, and now 2003 330Ci. The beemer has had not a single problem in 40000 hard, hard driven miles. My Audi and Benz were in the shop every other week. Six sets of brakes and two new trans later, I bought the BMW. Wont regret it ever. Just bought new 05 335Ci with performance pck. Thats right, 335Ci. Pick it up in August. People dont buy BMWs because they know they are better than everything else. Get sucked in, you wont regret it.

I bought this as a second car so I dont have to drive my Evo all over the place an I have to say, this thing, this BMW is excellent. Accelereration is quick and stable an smooth at speeds up to 120mph, it can be decieving unless you look at the speedo. You think your doing about 70mph when youre actually doing 90. Handling is superb! Find the speed limit for the corner an double it an you will find that BMWs are not just overpriced cars. This car looks good, rides well, and can perform very well. It gets looks from everyone espcially the ladies, unlike my Evo which gets more looks from 15 year old boys. Go full throttle into the turn and youll find a new love for cars.
