This Year's Model Updates:

BMW has seen fit to give the sedans and wagons a facelift for 2002. An in-dash CD player finally makes it onto the standard features list. The center stack has been altered to accommodate the new automatic climate controls. Steptronic automanual operation has been altered so that you move the transmission lever forward for downshifts and backward for upshifts. Bi-xenon headlamps are on the options list so that both low and high beams can glow a cold blue and can be set to automatic operation. Rear side airbags are available for coupes and convertibles. Two new colors, Electric Red and Gray Green (and a Natural Brown interior leather) join the color spectrum.

Pros:
  • Luxurious, powerful, exceptional road manners, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
Cons:
  • Pricey for their market segment, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity.

The BMW 325Cic is nothing short of exciting every time I turn the key. The car has a quiet engine but dont let that fool you-- it is quick and very responsive without guzzling your gas. Whether top up or down the noise is surprising quiet for a convertible. With BMWs reputation it will be a hard decision in 2 more years to even consider anything else than a BMW convertible-- no matter what the weather conditions are.

I save this car for April to October driving only. It has been a blast to drive and own. Not quite the performance of the mighty M3, but close enough. Id buy another one in a minute.

Its one of the best decisions Ive ever made. My last car was an Acura Legend and I thought Id never be able to find a car better than that. Guess I was wrong...

I just purchased my 325ci, and couldnt be happier. I was looking for a bigger car, after driving a Z3 for the past three years, and after driving Audis, Lexuss and Mercedes, I settled on the 325. I chose the sports package, sunroof and Xenons. The suspension of the sports package is unbelievable, absorbs bumps wonderfully, and is by far a blast to drive. I have only had mine for 1000 miles, but I am looking forward to driving this car for years to come.

I purchased this car with 9000 miles last month after owning a jeep for 6 years. The handling is mind-blowing and the looks are head-turning. I smile every time I look at this car!!! I actually look foward to going to work because its such a pleasure to drive. I bought a certified pre-owned which I highly recommend. They really take good care of you!

This car has simply been the best car Ive ever owned. In terms of performance, there is no sedan on the road the compares to this car. Being a motorcyle rider all my life, I enjoy to open it up on the road sometimes as well has hammer a few corners here and there. Heres my advise, if you want luxury and dont want to miss having a sports car, this is the car for you. You will not be dissapointed.

  • A real stunner - 2002 BMW 3-Series

I bought used 02 325Ci with 5K miles, have driven another 1K. This car lives up to the hype. Yes, there are a lot of them, guess why? I compared the BMW against the Audi A4, M- B C-class and Lexus IS. As much as I love my SLK (and kept it for the weekends!), the BMW really begs to be driven. I needed a usable back seat and comfortable highway car -- the 325Ci delivers. Im no lead foot, and the 184hp is fine. The cars wonderful in everyday driving. Im sure the M3 and 330Ci fly, but unless your last car was a Corvette you wont feel deprived. The coupe is stylish and scarcer than the sedan, so the "me too" factor isnt bad even here in southern Cal.
