Overview & Reviews
The BMW 3 Series sedan and wagon have been completely redesigned for 2006. Major highlights include new features, more powerful engines, a slightly larger interior and the incorporation of BMW's latest exterior styling elements. The 3 Series coupe and convertible are unchanged this year but will eventually move over to the new platform being used for the sedan and wagon; expect to see a new hardtop convertible for the 2008 model year.
- Still the standard when it comes to perfectly sorted vehicle dynamics, high-quality interior materials, wide range of configurations to suit any style, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
- Still costs more than most of its competitors, lacking in interior storage space.

Love this car - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By JimB - July 18 - 5:06 amThis car fits like a glove - the minute I sit in it, my whole body relaxes. Quick, handles very well, the only problem is that it is so much fun to drive, I tend to drive it really fast. The styling is classic, timeless. I have the iPod interface and the Harmon Kardon stereo, and the sound is really good. The only complaint, and I knew this going in, was that the back seat is tight.

Good Choice - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By Maine-ly Bimmer - June 5 - 5:06 pmBought my stripped-down 325i off the lot, on-impulse, though I had test-driven last years model. Compared to that car, this is roomier and more attractive. Its zippy and the ride/drive is effortless. Suspension, great,q uiet compartment and first fun car Ive owned in 10 years.

Excellent car with few flaws - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By lastmissouriexit - May 21 - 6:43 amAs a driving machine, it is unparalleled in class. Styling is great. Power is biased toward higher RPM, but fits my driving style. Automatic transmission is smoothest I have experienced, superior to Japanese counterparts. Extra large sunroof opening is nice.

My Dream Car...is no longer a dream - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By Missy - May 20 - 10:33 amThus far, I absolutely love this car, previously I owned the X-3, and I find the Sedan much more powerful and with more features for the money. Great on gas, great new look, and great power

great car - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By aldoseven - May 15 - 8:03 am330i fully loaded, 18-s, sport suspension, 6 speed and everything else. This car is a pleasure to drive. Im in love with it. Since I got this car, 6 months ago, I still feel like a little baby who just got his toy for the first time. I mean, everytime I get in the car I feel like a different person. I just LOVE IT.

Awesome and fun - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By Dawn - May 11 - 8:26 pmThis is my second of many BMWs to come, I love the way the 2006 handles, this car is very tight. Many more extras than my 2002 and roomier. Definitely would recommend this car!

Awesome Car!!! - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By Lisa - May 9 - 9:40 pmI recently sold my 2000 BMW 323i and ordered a 2006 330i. I was without a car for 4 weeks but it was truly worth it!! When it arrived I was so happy I had tears of joy driving it off the lot. I just LOVE it and it is so much fun to drive!!! I got the silver with the sports package and the premium package along with the Sirius Radio. This car is definitely worth the money. BEST 3 EVER!

My ultimate driving machine - 2006 BMW 3-Series
By spoondog - May 8 - 12:23 amThis car is a blast to drive. Its fast and corners like a go kart. I havent had any problem other than a software update. If you love to drive and feels like Jeff Gordon occasionally, this is the car for you. Just point and shoot.
