buyer beware - 1997 Audi Cabriolet
By mrs. h - January 27 - 2:00 amI love the look of this car, but would NEVER buy another Audi. I had serious problems with many aspects of this car - for example, replaced the battery 3 times in 4 years. Had to replace the entire steering system - and the car only has 46000 miles on it.

Best Euro-Cabrio - 1994 Audi Cabriolet
By Gregor Reti - December 25 - 2:00 amThis car rocks! I wanted to buy a BMW but my budget "Fortunately" did not allow it. The Exterior design is more eye pleasing than the BMW (same year). It is German and all that good solid feel driving that car HARD. It is a bit subtle in its engine power and is not as aggressive as a hard-core driver would like to experience it, but still beats most in traffic and serpentines. Use "Sport" mode in automatc transmission shifting (great advantage)./

Different Conv w/ great perf - 1998 Audi Cabriolet
By Jamie400 - November 18 - 2:00 amI have had my car for 5 years, and it has been so much fun. The best part is having a car that you dont see every day. The backseat is bigger than the BMW, the car is heavier than a station wagon and hugs the road.

Yvonnes - 1997 Audi Cabriolet
By yvonne - July 9 - 2:00 amGood experience with this car! no big problems and fun to drive. I am becoming more concerned with safety, thus the convertible may not be a good choice for me anymore.

Still Sunning - 1994 Audi Cabriolet
By JPAD - June 23 - 2:00 amIve had a green one since 1996, bought it new. In 108,000 miles its had every maintenance. Replaced the worn top cloth twice now just for appearance, it has never, ever leaked. No really big repairs under the hood, though. Fan motor resistor recently replaced as well as other small items, switch. I think the elegant, block of steel design inside and out will age well. I have thoroughly enjoyed it in the South. Id heartily recommend such a classi look and smooth performer. The reason it feels underpowered is that it weighs nearly 4,000 pounds. Its not gotten a good reputation and sales were never brisk. Its really a super, solid car.

Cabiolet 98 - 1998 Audi Cabriolet
By NancyandCasey - June 21 - 2:00 amThis vehicle has extensive problems with the electrical system throughout its warranty period. The dealership was consistently unable to difinitively diagnose the problem. Since warranty expired (about 1 1/2 years ago)there has only been one episode... so perhaps they finally did fix the source of the ongoing problems. Maintenance is expensive on this vehicle as should be expected and it is not easy to find a qualified mechanic outside the dealership, especially one that can accomodate my personal needs for convenience.
