- Torque-laden turbo four is a hoot to rev hard. Comfortable interior, great handling, stellar design, optional all-wheel drive and optional Tiptronic automanual transmission are pluses.

Quality, Fun, Look - 1999 Audi A4
By DavidVB - February 14 - 2:00 am...this car has it all. I recommend the 1.8T over the 2.8, b/c the turbo engine is fabulous and its also lighter (4 vs 6 cyl) which provides the car with an outstanding weight balance.

I love the A4 and havent seen any car that is a better value. The cars interior looks and feels like cars of twice the price, it is excellent other than the rear seat room.

Still great after all these years - 1999 Audi A4

No mechanical issues despite nearly 60,000 commute miles, and it has held up well consmetically as well. My daughter looks forward to when it can be her car (in five years when she gets her license!)

By Vegete - January 7 - 2:00 amWhy buy a rear wheel drive BMW when you can get an AWD Audi? Great value for what youre paying for. Quattro is a god send in snowy New England. The Bose Sound System is a gem! 6 Disk changer in the trunk in only a minor inconvenience. The interior is comfortable and stylish. My friends cant get over all the gadgets to play with, expecially the heated front seats. The exterior design is beautiful as it is. Who really needs a spoiler or body kits anyway? The certified warranty it came with is decent (100,000 or 2 years). I would recommend this car to anyone!

By architect - September 20 - 2:00 amThis is a great handling car! Ya really do look at curvy roads and smile just like a commercial. Passing acceleration is a delight. Sometimes ya just pass because it’s fun! Fit and finish are typical German solid. Bose radio is fantastic. Sounds great at any volume, weather it’s heavy metal or smooth jazz. I love the little things that car salesmen never talk about like windshield wipers that slow down when the car does. You’re going to love this car a little more every time you drive it.

Best Entry Euro Sports Sedan - 1999 Audi A4
By BAT - October 28 - 10:00 amThere is very little I do not like about this car. The turbo engine (w/ performance chip 200hp 235lbs/ft torque) is awesome. Handling is superb both wet and dry, in the snow (under 3- 4") I would take this car over anything else on the road. I went by SUVs in the ditch at 55mph on I-95. I also love the classic, elegant, styling of the car both inside and out, there is no need for the add on ground effects, wings etc. other manufacturers need to use to make there cars stand out.
