1.8 Turbo w/6 spd - 2004 Audi A4
By Happy Guy! - April 30 - 10:00 amThe turbo lag is noticable, but winding the engine up, even just a little, on take off takes care of this. The 6 speed also helps quicken the car up a great deal as compared to the automatic. We went with the Sport Package which does make the ride firm, but mini vans and SUVs really become annoying on on and off ramps :)

Wouldnt Trade it For Anything... - 2004 Audi A4
By MicEvHill - March 30 - 2:00 amThis car screams quality through-and- through! It offers a great ride, impressive perquisites, a classy look, and a price that is competitive with other entry-level luxury convertibles. It has surprisingly good pick-up, given its powertrain. It is a joy both to drive and to own! Run... dont walk... to your dealer and purchase one of these gems!

poor reliability - 2004 Audi A4
By nrn - March 24 - 2:00 amI am second generation Audi owner. I strongly doubt I would buy another. The reliability and resale value is poor at best.In addition I have had problem with power steering, been to two dealers, had it changed twice and still have problem. It could use a little more power as well.

Get used to it, and love it. - 2004 Audi A4
By mangoon - March 24 - 2:00 amExcessive mechanical problems early (radio amp, roofliner, window closure, power steering) fixed by dealer. Audi extended warranty by 1 year for the inconvenience. No gears-strange initially, but a dream later on. CVT is deliciously smooth. Time the slight turbo lag, hit the gas a split second early. Computerized triptonic creates 6 gears to move through if you like. Punch through corners, enjoy quiet at speed. Power isnt extreme, but solid. I recommend the upgraded stereo and 17-inch rims, without sport suspension. The car is tight enough without it. Not everyone will have this car, but you dont want to be like everyone else, do you...?

Everything I Hoped For - 2004 Audi A4
By drrich - February 22 - 10:00 amI did alot of research and wanted a convertible with front wheel drive for winter, a back seat for two, and looks that could turn heads. This car fills the bill and more. The top goes down fast, the car handles beautifully, and the controls especially on the wheel are great.I would recommend getting the wind screen for highway driving. It really makes a difference with your significant female other. The transmission is silky smooth and this car can pass anything on the road without a problem. In summary, it is a car that is fun to drive and great to look at

Errands are fun! - 2004 Audi A4
By mulford - February 4 - 10:00 amPrevious owner of 3 SUVs, my kids begged me to get a cool car. This car makes running around really fun. I am thrilled with the handling and gas mileage. I have the top down almost every day. Great vehicle.

Audi A4 Cabriolet experience - 2004 Audi A4
By kpfriel - January 4 - 2:00 amI was one of the early A4 Cabriloet owners. I now have 20,000 miles on the car. It has been terrific. It is quiet, sporty, a good road car for long trips, comfortable in winter and I receive many comments on how attractive it is. No problems since I got it.
