incredible car - 2004 Audi A4
By ststewart - November 4 - 2:00 amI was really surprised how fun the A4 is to drive. I had owned a 1999 A6 Quatro 2.8L before I bought the A4. I thought the A4 would be less car, when in fact it turned out to be more. I love everything about this car. It sounds great handles well and is really fun to drive. It is my favorite car I have ever owned.

Best Audi Yet - 2004 Audi A4
By Houston Driver - September 16 - 2:00 amThis is my 4th Audi, and they keep getting better! Unlike most convertibles this car rides smooth and quiet; no shakes or rattles, even on Houstons rough roads. The 3.0 V6 has more than enough power for city driving. The car has excellent interior and exterior styling that garners many compliments!

This is a great car. - 2004 Audi A4
By rgold28 - August 11 - 2:00 amI test drove the Passat V6, the Jetta V6 and ended up with the Audi A4 1.8T. I did not like the jerkey shift in the Passat, it did not feel as comfortible as the Audi. The Audi dealer was very helpful in explaining all the features of our new car. The test drive was quite long, we went on the freeway and the quattro system was explained in detail. I was told the Audi was one of the safest cars in its class. The quattro is a dream in the rain. My insurance premium is only $1000 per year. I think this is the best all around car in the world for performance, reliability, safety, fuel economy and comfort. My wife and i argue over whom is going to drive the new Audi.

A great start with a great car - 2004 Audi A4
By 204meca - July 31 - 10:00 amWe sought a combo of comfort, a good combo of performance and economy & cost less < $30K. After looking at Accords, Passats, Camrys, Mazda 6 & 3, Acura TSX we choose an A4. We had to special order 1.8T CTV with the interior package as the only option to control cost. After 5 months & 5,4000 miles were very pleased. On a 1,800K trip the comfort was supurb & we got 38 mpg. This is not a race car, but power is more than ample & we love the smoothness of the CVT & excellent gas mileage. Too soon to rate the long term reliablity, but it has been flawless so far. This car definitely has the feel of a winner!

Very nice, problems with reliability!! - 2004 Audi A4
By Dai85 - May 11 - 2:00 amBought one of the first 2004 models off the lot, its been 4 mths n I had 6 visits to dealership ever since. Though service is very good, but Im getting fed up with the problems, first with electrical problems, then engine oil problems, then the keys dun work n system immobliser wouldnt start the car with any key! Yesterday, the rear wheel part under the fender fell off!!! Dunno if its because of the cold winter here in Montreal but I bought this car to be a winter car! Not very satisfy with it!

Dont blow a tire - 2004 Audi A4
By Margie Determan - April 30 - 10:00 amI am looking at $1500-2000 of repairs to my gas tank, wheel lining and shock absorber, not to mention the replacement tire, which was $180, because I had a flat tire on this vehicle at 2389 miles. To my dismay, neither the dealership, nor Audi of America, will stand behind their vehicle and cover any of this cost. I apparently had a leaking gas tank for several days before the "check engine" light alerted me to a potential problem. It would seem that the design of this automobile should address the severe damage that apparently can be caused on this car from a flat tire. It makes me concerned about my safety.
