Ultra-Sport Avant Ultra-Fun! - 2004 Audi A4
By CVG - December 21 - 2:16 pmJust looking at the car makes me grin ear to ear. Great lines and inside it just continues, leather, feel-good dash, excellent sound system. Fast enough and brakes that actually do there job. Drove from Chicago to New Jersey with the wife and our two dogs. Fold-down rear seats with built-in dog screen, the tops! I have become an Audi enthusiast! The dealership was top notch along with the salesman. The service incredible.

Impressive - 2004 Audi A4
By North East - November 14 - 10:00 amThis is a great car, well made, fantastic finish. Definitely fun to drive. For drivers in the North East, the combination of the AWD system and the convertible are a great match. I have owned a 98 528 and a 2001 E320, and this car is on par with the fit and finsih of the BMW and light years ahead of the Mercedes. The only knock I have is it is a little slow off the line but once you are at 20 mph you are fine. Gas mileage in general is fair but when you are in the sports transmission mode or drive it hard it poor, but I am sure most people are not buying this for the gas mileage....

Poor front seats, too much road noise - 2004 Audi A4
By Reston - November 13 - 2:00 amThere is much to praise about this car. Few cars at any price can match the elegance of its interior design. The 6-speed is snick-snick smooth. But this car is much better suited for short urban trips than long-distance highway cuising. Front seats are far too hard and not very supportive unless youre smaller than average. Road noise is intrusive, especially on rough road surfaces. HVAC is drafty unless regulated manually.

By far the best car Ive owned - 2004 Audi A4
By A4 Fanatic - November 13 - 2:00 amThe more I drive it, the more I love it. The 4 cylinder engine is terrific, Ive put it through so much abuse yet after 17,000 miles absolutely nothing has gone wrong. Everyone who has been inside the car has enjoyed its comfort and the ambiance created by the red dashboard lighting. Thus far I have not heard a bad comment about any of the cars features. Ride comfort at all speeds and any road is imaculate, even with the sport suspension. Audi has done a terrific job when they created this car, they had "driver friendly" & "passenger comfort" during the crafting process. I will definately be a repeat buyer

all in all satisfied but not perfect - 2004 Audi A4
By mpteke - November 10 - 7:31 pmIve driven a dolphin grey quatro A4 for about 7 months which now has 14,000 miles. The only car I measured it up to before purchase was a BMW 325. All in all I am very satisfied about my purchase however the driver side window sometimes rolls back down on its own when I push it to roll up. Other than that no problems worth noting. I feel very safe in this car for me and my family.

Fun to drive - 2004 Audi A4
By ron from nh - October 7 - 2:00 amThe Audi A4 might not be tops in its class in any one category, but the overall blend of style, performance, and exceptional handling make it a blast to drive. In six months of driving, I just havent found a thing not to like about the car.

Former Jetta owner - 2004 Audi A4
By VFG/Dahlgren - October 6 - 2:00 amGlad I got the 6 speedM. Very Fun to drive, great fit/finish, great looking especially the interior. Drags a bit in the low end but keeping it reved up helps and on the highway great acceleration and excellent road handling. Quiet and stereo sounds great. Get the XM sat. especially if you take longer road trips. Best invention since...the Wheel?..well almost. Good storage w convenient rear split. On the bad side..just quibbles really......the cup holders...come on Audi everything else so "german" and sensible. Cupholders in armrest are universally acknowledged/useless M version/dash cupholder should have a red flag warning as cups and bottles leap out!

Very nice, but could use more oomph - 2004 Audi A4
By blicero - October 4 - 2:00 amI find the 1.8t A4 quattro to be a very comfortable and fun car to drive. While not a complete dog, the 1.8 liter four is a little underpowered for this cars weight. The six-speed shifts nicely and helps keep things more lively, but there is no substitute for more grunt. The interior finish is impeccable, the controls work well, and the quattro system helps in the corners. I am concerned about the long- term reliability. My car has just over 1000 miles and is rattling in the back ... I hope it will not be problematic.
