Model Overview:

The Audi A4 holds the distinction of having single-handedly revived the Audi brand. Launched in the mid-'90s, the compact A4 quickly became a favorite among luxury car buyers thanks to its beautifully finished cabin, sharp handling and available Quattro all-wheel drive. Although the A4 has offered these core characteristics from day one, it has become increasingly polished and high-tech with each successive generation. No matter which year you're looking at, the A4 promises both engaging performance and suave style inside and out.

The sedan body style has been a constant for the Audi A4, but depending on the vintage, you may also find wagon and convertible variants. Turbocharged four-cylinder power is typically found under the hood, yielding both reasonably spirited acceleration and satisfactory fuel economy. In road tests, we've consistently praised the A4's refined character, with more recent plaudits going to its spacious backseat, which has adequate room for full-size adults.

  • So much fun... - 2003 Audi A4

...Youll forget that you were being practical. I was most surprised to find the car had additional torque at 80 mph on the highway. The fuel efficiency of the 1.8T Quattro is an added bonus as gas prices go through the roof. Ive put 20000 miles on my car this year, and plan on putting plenty more.

  • Amazing car - 2003 Audi A4

I have had my Audi A4 for 9 months and it is by far the most fun I have ever had in a car. The interior is beautiful and plush and it looks so nice going down the side of the road. But when you are driving down the road and are able to have the wind in your face going at high speeds youll never drive a car the same again.

  • Id buy one again...... - 2003 Audi A4

With 2 years and 35k passed I am continually impressed with the comfort level and fun to drive quotient that I got for my money. A re-ocurring problem with the coil packs was finally resolved. I have to comend Audi on their care for the customer. Through general maintenance at Fred Baker in which they have gone out of there way to help me, and into the Road Side assistance that rescued me 970 miles from home after my girlfriend locked BOTH sets of keys in the car.I am very impressed with the vehicle and also the level of service that stands behind it. I would buy one again.........

  • overall good deal - 2004 Audi A4

The Audi A4 convertible is a great car and fun to drive. I have had issues with the top not operating properly and the middle brake light cycling on and off, but overall a great little car.

  • Excellent AWD car - 2006 Audi A4

Ive owned this car for just a few weeks and the handling is superb. The interior material are of top notch quality and the seats are very comfortable, though its a little tight for adult back seat passengers for a long ride. For a four cylinder this car has plenty of pep, most six cylinders couldnt come close. The standard stereo has very decent sound, but I wish I opted for the premium Bose with satellite radio. That was my error. Adding the proper satellite tuner now to the satellite ready stereo is about $400.00.

Impressive technology, interior design, and ride quality with silent interior at speed.

  • Youll love driving this car - 1998 Audi A4

Back to the dealer for service... lots of it. Mine was purchased new and has 48,000 miles on it. Ive replaced the computer, catalytic converter, cam tensioner seals, 5 instrument panels, 3 batteries, coolant reservoir, coolant temperature sensor, fuel guage sending unit, stereo, 2 speakers, and the alternator. Over $4,000 in billable repairs since the 3 year warranty ran out not including maintenance items.

  • No regrets - 2002 Audi A4

Im currently own two Audi A4s 2000 A4 and 2002 A4, and had driving both cars on daily uses. There are great improvement in handling of the new 2002 A4 (B6) compared to the old 2000 A4 (B5) plaftform. So far, there is no regret from me with the two Audi A4s in my garage.

  • Disappointed & Annoyed - 2003 Audi A4

The vehicle has been brought for servicing four times to date ranging from minor problems to major problems. Life Quality Audi gave the worst service, which convinced me never to purchase another Audi again. Service consisted of unfulfilled promises.

  • Perfect car except.... - 2003 Audi A4

I traded in my 2001 1.8 A4 for the 2003 model. Yes, there is turbo lag, but I experienced this in the 2001 model anyway. With the 2003, you can use the "S" mode or use the Tiptronic shifter to get a faster acceleration to 1st gear. After first gear, this car flies. Handling is great on corners.
