The Audi A4 holds the distinction of having single-handedly revived the Audi brand. Launched in the mid-'90s, the compact A4 quickly became a favorite among luxury car buyers thanks to its beautifully finished cabin, sharp handling and available Quattro all-wheel drive. Although the A4 has offered these core characteristics from day one, it has become increasingly polished and high-tech with each successive generation. No matter which year you're looking at, the A4 promises both engaging performance and suave style inside and out.
The sedan body style has been a constant for the Audi A4, but depending on the vintage, you may also find wagon and convertible variants. Turbocharged four-cylinder power is typically found under the hood, yielding both reasonably spirited acceleration and satisfactory fuel economy. In road tests, we've consistently praised the A4's refined character, with more recent plaudits going to its spacious backseat, which has adequate room for full-size adults.

Great car and right price - 2007 Audi A4
By john - January 24 - 5:43 pmI have had my A4 for a month and it handles any curve in any condition. The all-wheel drive is great. I upgraded to the sport suspension and it really makes the ride more firm so make sure that you really want that as the regular suspension is already pretty good and sometimes I think I would not mind a little softer ride although it does allow you to take a corner at 75 and makes it feel like 25. The inside is way better then the BMW or Acura. Great car overall with a great style all its own. If you go to the snow this car is great, I have already taken it to tahoe and while others were putting on chains I just kept on driving.

Reliable, Safe, Fun to Drive - 2005 Audi A4
By Aceman415 - January 18 - 9:23 pmThe quality of the this car is amazing. I like the design much better than the new 2.0 model. Acceleration is excellent. I considered the A4 and the TSX. The TSX feels like a car for children, while the A4 feels like a car for professional adults. Got the 1.8 with FrontTrak, which seemed more peppy than with Quattro. Also, the FrontTrak model gets really good gas mileage. I get up to 39 mpg on Hwy 101 during rush hour traffic. Purchased my car from Rector Audit in Burlingame. The sales staff was very professional and not like your typical car dealership. Projector headlights are fine - you dont need xenon. Standard stereo works great.

Two weeks after the warranty expired, the dealer said we needed new brakes, tires, and rear ball bearings, total bill $3000. The car needed endless work during the warranty, but at least we didnt have to pay for it. This was our second and final Audi, both with extensive problems lasting and very high repair costs. Now we drive Hondas.

Mine is a classic black with beige interior and top-- such a headturner on the road. Only took me one drive to figure out how everything works.A breeze to drive and a blast!!

Quattro is good - 2003 Audi A4
By MyfirstAudi - January 5 - 2:00 amAudi Quattro provides excellent traction on wet and snow covered roads. Beautiful interior with high quality materials. Car has been back to dealer four times for a rattle in the exhust, only appears on cold days. Also car has developed a problem in the ignition, warning alarm will not shut off when car is turned off and then car wont lock.

Love, Love this car - 2003 Audi A4
By laralynn - December 17 - 10:00 amI absolutely love this car. Relative to other vehicles in its class (I test drove the Acura TL, BMW 3 series, Infiniti) it is the best hands down. It comes with free service for the 1st 40,000 miles --- that is awesome! The interior and exterior styling is timeless---very classy. All my friends love my car. Also the A4 comes with a load of safety features--and as an engineer, I certainly do appreciate that, and this was one of major selling points of this vehicle. Right now I have about 11,000 miles (in 4 months!) on it and it rides just like the first day I had it. I would certainly recommend this vehicle to anyone willing to spend in the $30-35k range.
