The Audi A4 holds the distinction of having single-handedly revived the Audi brand. Launched in the mid-'90s, the compact A4 quickly became a favorite among luxury car buyers thanks to its beautifully finished cabin, sharp handling and available Quattro all-wheel drive. Although the A4 has offered these core characteristics from day one, it has become increasingly polished and high-tech with each successive generation. No matter which year you're looking at, the A4 promises both engaging performance and suave style inside and out.
The sedan body style has been a constant for the Audi A4, but depending on the vintage, you may also find wagon and convertible variants. Turbocharged four-cylinder power is typically found under the hood, yielding both reasonably spirited acceleration and satisfactory fuel economy. In road tests, we've consistently praised the A4's refined character, with more recent plaudits going to its spacious backseat, which has adequate room for full-size adults.

By Stefano - April 6 - 2:00 amThis is the first convertible I have owned and I love it, especially the one button ease of raising and lowering the top. The interior is gorgeous (red leather with black dash, headliner and carpet). The CVT is silky smooth and produces surprisingly good gas mileage for a V-6 engine. The Bose stereo system is terrific. The trunk is very generous for a convertible. The back seat is roomy. It can seat two people comfortably. I love the cars exterior - it is truly beautiful.

Concerns about vibrations - 2006 Audi A4
By cppat - April 3 - 3:40 amVibration concerns. The car noticably vibrates when placed in gear but not when in Park or Neutral. Tiptronic is fabulous, who needs a manual transmission!

Best car owned - 1998 Audi A4
By audis4nut - March 23 - 2:00 amHave almost 100k miles and car is as tight as the day I bought it. Not as much as 1 problem with the car. Cruises easily at 85 mph, yet handles the turns with ease. Quality of materials used is A1, and the car is a beauty to look at, still get compliments after 2 years of owning it.

By Female Driver - March 23 - 2:00 amI special ordered this vehicle and waited 4 months for it to arrive. I never had a chance to test drive and A4 Avant 3.0 6 speed manual with sport package. It is too small, very uncomfortable, rough ride, and the most difficult stick shift I have ever owned. Some of my most favorite features are not even offered on the car. I would love to get rid of it. I have extreame buyers remorse. I get sick every time I drive the car because of the rought ride and the amount I paid for the car.

By Paul V - March 21 - 10:00 amIve had this car for the past month and I love every drive I take. The CVT transmission is so smooth its a little disconcerting at first. The sport mode is a much peppier ride and the 6 speed tiptronic is smooth and powerful. Excellent trunk space with neat extra features such as cargo-net hold-downs. The Premium Package really rounds out the comfort with leather seats and power sunroof. The stock sound system is plenty powerful and sounds great, with another nice feature; when you turn on the system it can default to a preset volume, so youll never be blasted out of your seat from playing loud music on the way home from the night before...
