Overview & Reviews
The Audi A4 holds the distinction of having single-handedly revived the Audi brand. Launched in the mid-'90s, the compact A4 quickly became a favorite among luxury car buyers thanks to its beautifully finished cabin, sharp handling and available Quattro all-wheel drive. Although the A4 has offered these core characteristics from day one, it has become increasingly polished and high-tech with each successive generation. No matter which year you're looking at, the A4 promises both engaging performance and suave style inside and out.
The sedan body style has been a constant for the Audi A4, but depending on the vintage, you may also find wagon and convertible variants. Turbocharged four-cylinder power is typically found under the hood, yielding both reasonably spirited acceleration and satisfactory fuel economy. In road tests, we've consistently praised the A4's refined character, with more recent plaudits going to its spacious backseat, which has adequate room for full-size adults.

Who said, a car is a car? - 2003 Audi A4
By PoorBoy - April 19 - 2:00 amIve had the 3.0 for about seven months and really enjoy driving it whenever I get the chance. Im not overly impressed with the S4 this year as the cost/performance ratio is not that great. If your looking for a well built german auto, with all the options far below the cost of other brands in its market segement. The 3.0 is worth the money.

Great Sedan! - 2002 Audi A4
By Audi4me - April 17 - 2:00 amCompared to the Mercedes C240, Volvo S60, and the BMW 325i, the Audi A4 wins hands down in value-per-dollar. Superb handling and style, and perhaps the best automatic transmission ever made (CVT), the Audi A4 is a technological marvel. This is an outstanding vehicle!

Ideal car for me - 2002 Audi A4
By Pzeroman - April 17 - 2:00 amWow! Quattro, the new outstanding sport suspension combined with the Pilot Primacy and manual transmission yield a most comfortable, fun to drive and high performance ride. No body roll and the tires stick like glue. I got the dolphin grey with ebony leatherette and the aluminum trim--very sporty. Plenty of acceleration and could notice no turbo lag. The 1.8T is more nimble than the 3.0 as it is less weight overall and more even weight distribution. Road feel is awesome.

2002 Audi A4 - 2002 Audi A4
By dej0 - April 17 - 2:00 amI really like this car and think it is an improvement over my 97 A4. The handling feels tighter, but the ride is still comfortable. The car is quieter with the windows closed. The car is very fun to drive. The car look sbetter in person than the pictures would indicate. I loved the look of the older body style, but this one really looks great in person also.

Audi A-4q "Never Follow" - 2000 Audi A4
By MLM - April 15 - 2:00 amThis is an excellent car. Fun to drive, very smooth but powerful when needed. Quattro with ABS 4-wheel disc brakes and a solid-build makes this a very safe car too. A lot of great interior features. The A-4 is one of the best in class.

Great car, terrible company - 2001 Audi A4
By CT A4 - April 9 - 2:00 amI can think of very few things that I dont like about the actual car. Its fun to drive, the ecru/black interior looks great and is easy to keep clean, the trunk is huge for the cars size. However, I will never purchase another Audi again due to the HORRIBLE service provided by dealers and Audi of America. Everything is a hassle, from a simple oil change to getting a loaner car. The warranty does not limit the amount of alignments that can be performed during the warranty period, however Audi will now only allow 1 per year...what a sham. Ive dealt with 2 different dealerships with the same (low) level of satisfaction.
