I purchased a Vigor in June of 2003 and I love it. It has been very reliable and is fun to drive. I would buy another one if I needed another car.

I bought my Vigor because it was an Acura (Ive dealt with 4 honda/acuras in the past, and know that they are very reliable), it was a stylish design, and it was lady-owned with many reciepts. The g25a inline 5 cylinder is great! Its a little more of a high reving car (peak HP is at 6500 rpms), but the engine is soooo smooth. I added a RActive filter and I can feel more bottom end torque, better top speed, and the best part, a mean, deep throttle growl. DONT DOUBT THE I5, GET A VIGOR, IT WONT DO YOU WRONG!

  • My first new car...and I still have it! - 1993 Acura Vigor

After a 158000 miles as the original owner, I can honestly say I still consider this my "new" car. The driving experience is great whether I am tooling along at 70 down the highway or driving through the local mountains to the in-laws! Sadly, they stopped making them after only a few years, which makes them somewhat unique and collectible (yeah!) but also contributes to making parts a little more difficult to find (sigh). Have friend at work who bought one used and loves his as much as I do mine.

The vigor is a wonderfully designed BMW style car from Honda. See the lists of cons vs pros in this review for an objective review. If I wrote a text review it would be bias since I own the car and would tend to favor the pros.

I owned this car for 12 years, with out any major mechanical failures, other than a distributor cap replacement and a faulty CD changer, which Acura replaced under warranty. The Vigor is fun to drive, and its engine produces a warm purr. The cabin is quiet, although the windows can knock a little in high wind. Great cornering and brakes. It has all the amenities of an expensive luxury sedan.

Purchase my Vigor back in 1999 . I have owned many cars before but now like this one . This car has been trouble free since the day I own it. I highly recomended it . I have been looking to buy a Bmw or a lexus and I notice my self looking back into buying another Acura .

  • Excellent car - 1994 Acura Vigor

This car is awesome! I had to find a vehicle to drive back and forth to work, my Xterra gets terrible gas milage! The only improvement I would suggest is cup holders. This car has none.

This is the best car Ive owned. Not a single problem, and I now have over 87,000 miles. Extremely comfortable and very attractive.

Vigors are rare and I like it. They look stylish and rich. You have everything in one car. Plus, 5 speed manual, period. I have always liked these cars when I saw them on the road, but I could never imagine that I would own one. I could not expect the perfection of the Vigors.

  • With a lot of Vigor! - 1994 Acura Vigor

Excellent value. 6 cylinder performance with the economy and maint of a 4 cylinder. Very reliable. Dealer parts are expensive. The auto trans is as smooth as anything on the planet.
