The Diamond in the Rough - 1992 Acura Vigor
By Brandon - January 19 - 12:09 pmFor a first car, Acura has spoiled me senseless. To be honest, I didnt really want it because it was $3500 (little more than what I intended on paying for a car). The car had only 98k and all its maintenance records though, so my father encouraged me to get it. I had not even driven the thing yet, mind you... and I was buying it. It took 3, yes THREE seconds behind the wheel to realize that I absolutely loved this car. I call it my baby, and plan on buying a party hat for it on its first birthday (Jan 22nd). If you find one in good shape, heavily consider it - Ive only seen around 10 Vigors on the road since I bought mine nearly a year ago. They are built to LAST (over 200k w/care).

Great Car for Teens and Stylish Women - 1992 Acura Vigor
By PrettyKlassy - August 19 - 3:43 pmThis car just seemed to call my name as I was looking my 16 yr old daughter a car. Was purchased with some 140K miles but had some minor problems we didnt discover until we had it for a few months. After replacing the engine (with one that had 90K miles) and a few other fixes, not only did my daughter but I loved driving it. It still looks good, runs well, and for a teenager thats all that really matters.

Original Owner - 1993 Acura Vigor
By J.B. - July 11 - 3:29 pmBought this Acura Vigor new in Feb 93. It is the light aqua green color with the "gold" package, moonroof, factory gold trim wheels, spoiler, and many other extras. Have thus far enjoyed driving it most everyday for 158,000 miles. Honestly, looking forward to many more years of enjoyment, as it would otherwise be like losing a family member. We have had zero problems with the vehicle over this thirteen year period, as it still has its original power and drivability. A gorgeous car that still turns heads!!

Top Class quality for medium price. - 1994 Acura Vigor
By Mazhar Syed - April 20 - 5:30 pmAcura Vigor, the name might sound too strong, but pull back the seat, put the trans in D4 and raise the gas slowly, you will feel the difference which you cant experience in a new mitsubishi eclipse(e.g). Honda has done a great job on this car, I tested it and it ran 0-60 in 8secs where consumer guide said 8.8secs(idiots). Anyways, this is a car that you will enjoy in every aspect, with 8 channel surround sound(4tweeters and 4speakers) if u can spend u can set-up 8 speakers along with a sub and make the worlds best sound system or upgrade 2-way speakers in the front and 3-way speakers in the back panel with a 10inch sub in the trunk as I did and ENJOY! For $4000, i bought a BMW M3 kicker lol

The Acura Vigor a perfect car - 1994 Acura Vigor
By Crazyhorse - March 24 - 2:42 pmThis Vigor is the best car I have ever owned. I plan on spending $3000 and getting the little bit of rust and one rear door replaced. The body does not need to be repainted. I have had to do minor repairs. The mechanics who work on this car always rave about the Acuras. I work for an American car manufacturer and wonder why they continue to purchase the very cheapest componenets on the market. The Japanese auto industry puts together a well designed vehicle with great components thus insuring years of reliability. Cars and trucks are a liability. I plan on purchasing used Japanese vehicles from here on out. Or, until the American car Cos wake up from their delusion.

Acura Vigor - 1992 Acura Vigor
By WendyB - June 9 - 2:00 amWe drove our Vigor for nearly 10 years, then kept it for another 2 years as our extra car. It was almost never in the shop, and I dont recall it ever leaving me stranded. It was peppy, handled well, and got great gas mileage. It was a great car to drive and was very reliable. I would recommend any Acura based on our experience with this one.

Never a problem for 96000 mi - 1992 Acura Vigor
By markd1212 - March 27 - 2:00 amHad the car since day one. Used in mostly town driving so my car is not one of those 90% highway miles cars. I follow what Acura recommends for maintainance, faithfully. Oil is changes 2 or 3 times a year. Every 2 years I change all fluids, air & gas filter etc. I have never had any mechanical problems at all but this is normal for this model car. The Vigor has a following and even has a Yahoo club. The car rides great and is solid at 100 mph. At 55-75 mph it feels like its going 30. People tend to keep these cars so if one becomes available, give it a look. Only negative, small amount of leg room back seat, but huge trunk.

LOVETHISCAR - 1992 Acura Vigor
By CT2NY - March 16 - 2:00 amI purchased this from a friend after I totalled my Honda Civic at 236,000 miles. I have 155+ on it right now and just bought a 2002 Honda Accord. I am already going through withdrawals about selling this car.
