Awesome and Disappointing all at once! - 2005 Acura TSX
By Marc B. - April 17 - 4:03 pmI owned a 1999 Integra GS-R previously and in shopping for a new car I chose to go with the TSX instead of a 330ci. The initial quality of this vehicle is fantastic. It is fun to drive, handles wonderfully, and acceleration is between good and excellent. It comes fully loaded so you really dont have to think too much when youre making your purchase. One of the bad things I read about the TSX was regarding the paint. A lot of people seem to complain about it but I thought that maybe they were just overly critical. They were right. The paint on this vehicle is of very poor quality. Acura likes to tell people that its Soft paint. Soft? Is that Japanese for poor? Read section below...

Love this Car! - 2005 Acura TSX
By Fred&Wilma - April 1 - 9:22 pmWe love this car. It handles so well and has plenty of power. The engine hums at 80 mph and stops on a dime. The interior is very comfortable and everything is in easy reach. We like the navi system and touch screen panel. The voice command system is ok and its often quicker to use the touch screen. The car is much nicer than the Accord or Camry and costs about the same. Great value!

I traded my 8 cylinder car for a 4 cylinder Acura TSX which has the pep of a well trained puppy dog. It loves to rev and with the sport mode stick shift in place you are Le Mans or Daytona in your mind !! Now I get quick performance at a very reasonable gas mileage. It is a drivers car that accomodates passengers !!

2004 Model - 2005 Acura TSX
By Bizz1976 - March 23 - 11:50 amOk, I have the 2004 Model. The Pros: Very Comfortable, Awsome interior, Fantastic ride and handling, great service. The Cons: The Rotors have been resurfaced and the rears replaced within 8,000 miles.(Known Problem. All four detention rods in the doors went bad. door panel cracked due to cheap plastic.Creak in dash and in drivers door. Door panel replaced but no fix. Japanese auto makers are going into the whole. Buying another Hyundai as they had been great comfortable reliable cars. Ill buy an NSX if I hit the lotto though. At least they are hand built.

Found a winner - 2005 Acura TSX
By eag - January 25 - 6:33 amI have owned BMWs in the past 20 years.The upkeep was quite costly, so I did some research on a new sports car. The TSX was well received by the writers and drivers of the main auto magazines, so I took a test drive. Love at first sight. The 4 cylinder, 200 HP engine has a lot of umph!!Gas mileage averages 28, and at future increases in gasoline approaching the 3 dollar level, this is very good.Im in my 70s and very impressed with this auto. Fun to drive daily.

4 Cylinder Thriller - 2005 Acura TSX
By SWFloridadriver - January 14 - 3:23 pmAcura has sired a 4 cylinder to take on the BMW. Its 200 HP happily thrusts you ahead from the stop lights.Tightness of drive is superb. Fit and finish is at first class standards, though I would have liked to see the wood trim continue to the back seats. Trunk space is masterfully done. This to me is a drivers car with stick shift manumatic or full automatic, sunroof and navigation system which is simply fantastic.

My third Acura - 2005 Acura TSX
By Heather - December 28 - 9:36 pmThis is my third Acura. The other two where Integras and I was ready to move up to a bit of luxury. I didnt need a new car but I wanted this one. I knew I would not be concerned with reliability and quality of the build. Just about every feature is standard which just made it that much easier to buy. It is fun to drive and suprisingly my gas mileage is improving. When you close the doors it has a nice solid, snug fit sound that rings of quality. Of course, the downside of buying this car was moving to premium gasoline especially right at the time gas started going so high. But it is a low emissions vehicle so at least Im spewing less pollutants into the air.

Florida TSX - 2005 Acura TSX
By Florida - November 26 - 7:43 amAfter 17k miles, it is still a joy to drive. The engine loves to rev and the suspension is smooth and yet still turns in and corners like a 4-door Miata. In fact, having owned a Miata, there is little to choose in that area, but here I have a much more comfortable, roomier and quieter car. I considered the Golf GTI V6 and the Acura RSX. The Golf was not as comfortable and although it may have been quicker, it didnt feel quicker. Also the 6 spd. shift linkage was not nearly as nice as the TSX, but miles better than the 5 speed Golf. The RSX was not nearly as quiet as the TSX, and I preferred the extra room.

Awesome Car! - 2005 Acura TSX
By Mark - October 22 - 2:56 amWe just purchased this bright red TSX last week, and its a blast to drive.The voice actuated nav system is easy to learn and works great. I love the XM radio, just wish it came with a years free membership instead of 3 months. We traded in an 03 I-35 and there is no comparison in the fun to drive category. It handles well, the performance is adequate and gas mileage is great! This is my first Acura and if the car holds up well, it wont be my last!
