  Finally!!! - 2005 Acura TL

  I knew I wanted an Acura TL when I first saw it at the LA Autoshow two years ago. During that time, I researched many other vehicles with the TL being the one to beat. While some other vehicle may have bettered the TL in a certain area, none had the whole package. Now that I have my TL, Im thrilled.

  Performance and luxury and the chicks dig it too! Forget BMW. Forget Audi. Forget Lexus and Infinity too. Mercedes? Wait until youre an old man. By far the best bang for your buck is the Acura TL. I have no regrets.

  Without a doubt, the best car I have ever owned. Handling is fabulous and all I want to do is find a reason to drive this car. Ive owned many cars from Audis to VWs and there is no comparison...just a joy to drive. I love it.

  Great car to drive - 2005 Acura TL

  I purchased my 05 TL in Oct and have enjoyed every minute Ive driven it. The acceleration will pull your head back! its that good and very smooth. Ride is a little stiffer than Im used to but all the sporty new cars are like that, Ive driven several. The interior is very well crafted with no visible defects anywhere. Handling is very predictable and the car handles very well at high speed and curves. Gas mileage is so so but I guess if you want power on demand you have to give up something. Seating is great even back seat has plenty of leg and head room. Dealer was great to work with. I would definitely recommend this car.

  Good but not great - 2005 Acura TL

  My previous car was an Infiniti J30t. I think I prefer a rear wheel drive car for handling and the lack of torque steer. The TL is a great road car and we enjoy it very much. Im a bit surprised that no one has mentioned the low profile tires and the effect on ride and the inability to use traditional chains for snow. Spider spikes work, but are very expensive ($375). Also we have several small interior rattles which come and go. The A/C system seems to provide uneven temperatures. Rear visibility is difficult. Transmission seems to shift too early, resulting in apparent engine vibration.

  No problems at this point. Fit and finish are excellent. Engine and drive train have had no issues but its still a 4 mo old vehicle.

  This vehicle handles the road and rides very tight and safely. It is comfortable, the navigation system is superb. It offers blue tooth tehnology, satellite radio. The surround stereo system is fantastic. It lets you know how the percentage on much longer to change your oil. It is a luxiurious vehicle. I highly recommend this car.

  This is a great car for a 16-30 year old who has an extra 35 k to spend. It has without a doubt the best combination of horsepower and sound system in any car I have ever driven. Now for the 30 and over set, the seats are leather which have no softness to them, ie they are like sitting on a hard leather bench which is quite uncomfortable on long rides. The damping system or shocks is adequite only on smooth roads, any imperfection in the road is immediately transferred to your spinal column otherwise in a jarring and overly communicative fashion. Having driven Audis in the past I am used to road feel, this car gives you almost no damping and is a quite harsh ride especialy with the hard seat

  The previous two cars I owned were an Audi A4 Quattro, and a Volvo S80 T6, and also currently own a Mercedes ML 320. My 05 TL is comparable to the Audi A4 in performance, and much more comfortable. The TL is not as comfortable as the Volvo S80, but much better looking and better performance. I like the fact that the TL comes standard fully loaded with just about everything you could want, there are basically no options except for navigation system, and the price is exceptionally good for an entry level luxary car. Both exterior and interior design are excellent, interior is very functional, and rear seating is surprisingly ample. I think its the best car for the money available today.
